"A lovely small, family run hostal with nice rooms and a delightful young lady helping us. We had the paella rather than go to one of the other places to eat in town. You do need to pay in cash but it is not expensive."

"The apartment was clean and amazingly located within the town centre. There was the option to park right outside the building. The instructions on how to access the keys and the apartment itself were excellent. “Mountain views” meant views to the wall of a massive rock a few meters away. The apartment was clean and spacious. The sofa was extremely uncomfortable (the back was solid) and the supplementary bed was super soft and squeaky, with any small movement. The toilets were clean although the ensuit loo was lifting from the floor and there was no hand soap, only gel/shampoo sachets which we found really poor, a small hand soap bar would have been great. Overall, this was a good place to stay overnight and should we return, we would make sure to bring our own toiletries! The hosts were polite and really helpful providing great communication and guidance."

"The outstanding thing about this property was its very large gardens, both private and an even larger area shared with other people staying on the site.. The grounds would have been superb for any families with children.The property was also very well equipped with everything needed for daily life and comfort including a large purpose built BBQ area which we made full use of during our 4 night stay .Car parking was secure through locking gates to the side of the house for which we were appreciative.We were able to easily visit a number of vineyards in the area and other sites of interest, a highlight for us of being in the Rioja area.Communication with the host was excellent and prolific and provided a huge amount of useful good quality information. Responses to text message queries were very quick and helpful.We did however feel that whilst we were able to enjoy our stay in comfort and loved the overall region that the property itself was starting to feel tired and run down and was due a refurbishment. This of course is just an opinion that others may disagree with but we want to be as honest as possible for the sake of the review."
