Great location - very walkable to the town centre and restaurants etc!! Property was beautiful with greenery and courtyard. Staff were fairly helpful, but not overly friendly. Room was sufficient and clean. Pool was a hit with the kids and we liked the different seating area options, with tables in addition to pool loungers.

Inviiting colonial style building. Beautiful courtyard with tall trees and flowering plants with a dipping pool in the centre. Seating around it. Very clean. We were on the 3rd floor which was added a few years ago. (No elevators). Large bathroom. Spacious room with storage. Opened onto the coutyard but also a juliet balcony opening to the side plaza below. (Room 50). Firm beds. Photos on site are accurate. Safe in room. I would definitely stay again. Very close to main attractions of town.

The hotel (especially the courtyard) is charming and beautiful. The rooms are good and the bathrooms are very nice. Good, walkable location, and the staff answered all our questions.

Nice hotel! Found a couple of great restaurants nearby and it was very walkable. The courtyard and pool were especially nice.

Amazing multi lingual staff greeted us with a smile every time we sauntered by. The room was large and the AC and fan kept it nice and cool. Water pressure and temp could be better, but we've learned in Mexico that is often hard to come by. Several good restaurants in the area, overall it was a great place. We stayed on the first floor right next to the pool and pool area bathrooms, but still very quiet as our room (12) did not border the road. Would definitely stay here again.

Small and cute hotel
The check in was easy and fast, staff very friendly. The hotel better in person than the pictures. Room spacious and clean. The only down point our room was facing the street and for noisy early in the morning.

Overall, I enjoyed my stay at this hotel. Great hotel for the price. Very clean and well maintained. Staff was very friendly. Love how close it is to everything. I would definitely stay here again.

We had a lovely stay at the Fundadores hotel. The hotel and our room was clean, and is within walking distance from the main square. The hotel is near very good restaurants. The staff is friendly and accommodating. We would stay here again

Staff was very pleasant throughout. Very helpful with my questions and requests. The hotel had a very nice courtyard/pool area and the room was comfortable and clean. This location was within walking distance of many restaurants. A fantastic place to stop on our mini road trip from Cancun/Chichen Itza.

Cute colonial hotel in central Valladolid
Amazing cute colonial style hotel. Perfect location close to everything. Very reasonable rates. My room was huge and I loved hanging by the pool. Wifi was patchy in room but was totally fine by the pool. Highly recommend.

This is a very clean, cute hotel within easy walking distance to the main square and many shops/restaurants. Beds are comfortable and A/C worked great. However, we stayed in room #1 and I do not recommend that room. It is near the entrance on the ground floor so is in a busy, high traffic area with lots of people coming and going. From the room it is also easy to hear staff or other guests talking at night and early in the morning. The shower didn't drain properly so by the end of my shower I was standing in over an inch of water. It drains...eventually. It is possible this is a problem with any room on the ground floor. There are no safes in the rooms which meant I had to carry my passport and other valuables around with me all the time. I would stay here again but just not on the ground floor.

I love the location because you can walk to restaurants, parks and stores. Love the colonial building design and at the same time the room has modern updates at the bathroom to make our stay very confortable. The parking lot has only 6 spots available, but at the front desk they told us they can move our car in case other car needs to go out. Very clean room, beds and bathroom. I wish I can stay more days.

Very charming / Weak wifi
Extremely charming hotel with a beautiful courtyard and pool. Perfect location, near to the city center and walkable to a ton of restaurants. The room was comfortable with A/C and a balcony overlooking the street. My only complaint was the Wifi was quite weak in our room - it didn't really reach to where we were staying. Not a huge deal for one night, but worth mentioning.

Pleasant hotel with reasonably central location
Nice hotel ,centrally located. Very pleasant and helpful staff. Only downside was that although we had been told there was building work currently going on, we were informed it would start from 8am which we were willing to accommodate, however the loud noise actually started at 6.45 & continued. Acknowledge this is only a temporary issue.
