"This is my second stay at this beautiful place, and I can confidently say the views of the ocean are stunning! It's perfect for morning walks since you have easy access to the beach, and there are plenty of great restaurants nearby. While I believe the place could benefit from some updates, particularly with the door locks for added security, it’s still an incredible spot. With a few improvements, this place would be perfect!"

"Everything was great about this hotel, except one thing, the road getting in. It’s definitely a little off the beaten path and expect lots of dirt and dust on the way in. outside of that, the staff were very kind and professional, as is almost always the case in Mexico, the place was very clean and the views were beautiful. It probably deserves five stars except for the location. If they would pay the roads in and make it a little smoother to get in, that would probably make it a five for me."

"Resort is amazing! Room was super clean, view was exceptional, all onsite staff was more than kind/helpful. No words to describe how great their food is at the onsite restaurant Salvia Blanca. Would stay here again especially when you compare their pricing to other well known resorts around."

"We celebrated our 10-year anniversary at Banyan Tree in Guadalupe Valley, BC. The resort is beautiful, very eco-friendly, our sunset view suite was one of the most spectacular rooms we've experienced, and we have stayed at many 5-star resorts when traveling. The amenities, the private pool, and the indoor/outdoor shower were so special. We loved the entire experience, including the attentive staff and the hydrotherapy session at the spa. We will definitely visit again soon."

"The hotel was beautiful and very unique. Our room was lovely, and the pool area was peaceful and relaxing. However, for the price we paid, I expected a higher level of cleanliness and maintenance. When we checked in, the terrace was full of dirt, and unfortunately, it was not cleaned by housekeeping the following day. We also had issues with the hot water. During showers, the hot water would only last about three minutes before turning completely cold, forcing us to keep our showers extremely short. The staff provided good service overall, but the bar could use improvement. The cocktail selection was very limited, and the drinks we tried were not particularly good. Service at the bar was also quite laid-back and slower than expected. Overall, the property is beautiful and has a lot of charm, but there are several areas that need improvement to match the price point."
