The views of this property were breathtaking! We felt the warmth immediately when we entered the home and were greeted by fresh flowers and a bottle of wine. The beds were extremely comfortable and the rooms were nice and spacious.

Secluded neighborhood in the hills of Valley Center.Close to entertainment if you really wanted it, but the quiet views and all-inclusive property kept us on the premises our whole weekend. The raptors love to soar at the height of the home - you feel you are in the skies with them.
View from the Living room window at sunset - looking WEST towards ocean.
Afternoon view from the balcony PATIO, BBq area and Jacuzzi - looking North East.

Family Wedding Weekend

We came to California for our son’s wedding. This VRBO was a great fit for my husband and I, my elderly parents, and my daughter. The views are stunning, it was quiet, and very restful!

Nice stay

We had a nice time, air conditioning worked great, very pretty views and fast response when we reached out to host about an issue with the key. You are in the middle of a lot of nature and all that comes with that but overall very nice experience.

Awesome Place to Stay, Highly Recommended!

One of the best VRBO's were we have stayed. Tina and Mel were very responsive to questions and request and made sure that we were able to have a fantastic Thanksgiving/Birthday for my son who's in the Marines. The views are fantastic and we especially loved the hot tub under the stars. The home is spacious the beds are very comfortable. Love the open design it was a great place to chill and reconnect with my adult children.

Relaxing, with great views

Great place to chill out, watch the sunrise and sunset, and soak in the hot tub. Plenty of space for families to spread out, and lots of indoor and outdoor spaces to hang out in. The drive itself was as advertised, but longer than expected; once you arrive, you have little incentive to leave, so it's nice that the place is so comfortable :)

Nice stay

The house was beautiful. I found the amenities to be solid. The location is quiet and makes for a peaceful time. Do keep in mind that this location is 20-30 minutes from any other services and that at least during September you will have fog roll in that hangs around until about 10 a.m.

Long Weekend In Center Valley

We were in town for my son's lacrosse tournament. The home provided amazing views and a comfortable place to relax during our downtime. We arrived in the dark and the looks on our faces when we saw the views from the house first thing in the morning were priceless!

Awesome Views. Watch the sunset!

The place is a little dated, but it doesn’t have to be brand spanking new! The views make up for it and the 15 is right there which connects you to any county in SoCal without too much commute. Jacuzzi was a plus! Would stay there again when we come to SD.

Incredible view!

This property was amazing and we enjoyed our stay to the very end! The listing was accurate and the amenities: hot tub, fire pit, grill and patio were excellent, but nothing beats the seclusion and sunsets and sunrises that only this property offers! Steep drive up a winding road which only adds to the experience, nothing dangerous or undoable. Hosts were extremely responsive and accommodating. Thanks for adding to our family memories

Heaven in the Hills

This property was amazing and then some. Not many places can bring you instant relaxation and a sense of serenity, but this beautiful home could do just that. This will be our go to rental for every visit we make to San Diego, if its available. (On second thought, maybe i shouldnt leave this review). 😁

House on the clouds

The property and surroundings are beautiful. It's easy to enjoy just staying at the property alone and enjoy the view. We felt like we were on a cloud on some mornings, due to actual clouds being present. The patio is beautiful and it's amazing to sit out there. And it's great for a full sized family. The only drawback I'd say is the steep drive to the property, but that may be more of an issue if you're used to flat roads, such as in Texas =p. Overall, it was a great experience and I thank Mel and Tina for allowing us to stay!

Perfect space to relax

This property was perfect for us. It was a large home with plenty of room for us, our daughter and son-in-law and 2 elementary grandkids. We had a family reunion and family wedding in the area, and the home was a perfect place to come back and unwind, enjoy the view, relax in the hot tub, and enjoy the smaller family unit. It was very clean and I appreciate that it was set up specifically for short term rentals. Mel and Tina were very responsive and flexible. Thanks so much - we will be back for our annual family reunion!

Relaxing stay

The views are beautiful from the house. The beds were comfortable. It was a very nice stay. Many people have complained about the drive up but we didn't think it was bad at all. We come from Arizona and drive around mountains quite often. The directions that were given to us to get to the house were very helpful. The owners respond quickly, and we had no issues. The house is very spacious and we had everything we needed. I highly recommend this home :).
