Very chic, clean, comfy bed, lots of bedding, great kitchen, great amenities. Great location to the Quay, restaurants, etc. Only one criticism - uneven/gap access to front door - safety issue - need a covering ramp.
A unique experience in a lovely setting. The apartment was immaculate, well equipped and well appointed. An easy walk to the sea bus which seamlessly connects with the train from the airport and is very reasonably priced.Very easy to get a bus to the Capilano Suspension bridge.Very secure and peaceful.Marilyse was very responsive to any enquiries.
The location, property and host were all excellent. It was just as nice, if not nicer than the photos provided. It was such a great and unique location. We enjoyed watching the seals, checking out the marine leaf including starfish and the bike paths. The only thing that could have made it better, is if we could have stayed longer! Great place!
We loved our stay at floating retreat! It was located in such a peaceful environment. The apartment was immaculate and so beautifully designed. We were so lucky to spend some time with the owners. Such kind and thoughtful people with an adorable little dog. We would recommend the place to anyone.
Great place in a cool location! Host was wonderful and communication was easy. Location was 10 min walk to Seabus station where you can take a 10 min ferry to downtown Vancouver. traffic in Vancouver is crazy so this was easy and cheap way to go vs driving or ride share options.
This was a great experience - the floating home was absolutely beautiful and in an excellent location to walk to the market, hop on a bus to explore more of the city and nature trails!Excellent hosts!
If you are looking for a urban escape you will enjoy Sea la vie. Lovely unique accommodation. Definitely gets your mind out of the city, quiet retreat.
We had a great stay in this comfortable and stylish home on the water. All the essentials and some extra touches were waiting for us, and the location was amazing. We appreciated our helpful and friendly hosts, and would definitely book again!
A perfect 24 hr getaway with so much to explore within walking distance of this charming house boat rental. Parking was a breeze, instructions & communication perfect. A very comfortable stay thanks to all the nice extras provided. Thank you for sharing your home!
My kids and I really enjoyed our stay at Marilyse’s houseboat. She and her husband were truly helpful, responsive and accommodating. The houseboat was clean, comfortable and in a great location to visit all the sites in Vancouver. We will definitely stay again on our next visit to the city!.
We were in Vancouver for the marathon and this was a great place to stay. 10 minutes walk to the ferry and restaurants at Lonsdale Quay, we could sit by the water and watch the seals play. The unit is well equipped, spotlessly clean and comfortable.
Our floating holiday was perfect. Clean and well appointed. (Lovely fluffy towels) It was accessible to city, yet far enough away to be peaceful. Friendly, helpful hosts. We had a wonderful time. Thanks!
Such a fun stay, perfect location! It’s across the harbor from the hustle and bustle of downtown but right next to the SeaBus terminal so you might as well be downtown. Quieter, easy to move around, and just feels so much more comfortable! Don’t hesitate, book this floating escape!
