"Room was clean but the headboard on the bed was all ripped up. The change room for the pool etc smelled awful, like sewage. I was not told I had to book the airport shuttle at check in. I just happened to see it mentioned in the website. Check in staff should tell people at check in. "

"When I booked this hotel, I thought I had seen that the shuttle from/ to the airport was included. I was surprised to see that it wasn't having rechecked the day before heading to River Rock Hotel. However, getting to the hotel was very much straightforward. I say this as a mother travelling with a 6 year with 3 suitcases! The Sky line leaves you at the station and the station is interconnected with the hotel. I did not see this as a hassle whatsoever. The hotel is wonderful, and staff were very attentive and friendly. The pool is a highlight for little one. Highly recommend this property and I would not hesitate booking the hotel again for a short stay close to Vancouver airport."

"The property is small including the rooms but it’s more than sufficient for a short stay. It was nicely redone, had all the basics you need. There is secure parking which is a bonus but it is very tight. Only a car / small SUV will fit. You are right by the hospital so there is a lot of sirens. It is a good walking distance to Granville St and BC Place. Good coffee shop right inside the hotel."
