Comfortable separate ONE-bedroom unit, with garden in front. Host lives at the back, and is really helpful and responsive. Clean and neat - cleaners come in between guests.Lovely location - a quiet residential neighborhood of well-maintained homes & gardens, yet under a mile from restaurants/ shops. Good street parking. The bedroom: queen bed (rather soft), a small desk (big enough for a laptop) and office-style chair. The (comfortable) living room sofa is a sofa-bed. However, living room has no curtains, so light-blocking may be an issue.Many thoughtful touches: salt/pepper/ cooking oil provided; quite new teflon frying pans; lot of plastic (not wire) hangers in the closet; over-door set of 8 hooks in the bathroom; abundant clean fresh towels.We appreciated indoors shoes-off policy, (we do the same at home). Floor is wood-like laminate, maybe bring indoor slippers. (Or wear socks!)North Vancouver's complicated garbage sorting system separates compostables, bottles, cans, paper and trash. (We did some cooking and bringing in food, so we needed to sort garbage.) Access was easy with a code that is reset for each guest. The path from the sidewalk is concrete, with a small step up. On the whole, good stay with a gracious host. Would stay there again.
