"It’s a nice new family run hotel is the residential area some1,5 km away from the city centre. There are large single family houses with gardens on the street and recreational park some 10 min walk away, it has a cable car which will take you down to the city centre in 2 min. "The location is the only downside for this hotel - it is away from the central city, on the road to Tbilisi. Quite a few locals were staying - maybe they were driving. I was caught in the rain: I turned up looking like a drowned rat and the fellow on reception couldn't have been kinder. He wanted to carry my backpack but it was easier for me to do so: he took me to my room, got the heater working, found a hairdryer and showed me where everything was.

Arrived at night to be told, we don’t have a room. Didn’t matter that I had a booking. No sympathy or apology. Had to find a hotel elsewhere with a taxi.
A month later, and there’s still been no refund or apology. Very poor behaviour "
