The breakfast in general is excellent. This is one of very few possible stays in Rosendal. As Rosendal is a small town, it was expected that the hotel is less polished. But the hotel is very clean from the inside. However, there will be bugs (flies/gnatts) in the summer. Don't know if it is a good or bad thing. There were signs saying "This hotel is for sale" during my visit."

"Sigurd’s home is absolutely lovely. The location is peaceful and beautiful, with a wonderful view. "The staff was GREAT! They made us feel at home and were very friendly. The rooms were neat and clean. We were located close to the Steinsdalfossen and a bit further to the Voringsfossen. The Trolltunga is accessable too; you just need to be prepared for a 20 km hike. Oh, and the breakfast rocks!"
