"Perfect location. Everything is in walking distance. 10-20min walk. It’s secluded in its own area, away from all the chaos which makes it great to stay at. Since roads are closed for traffic and riskshaws can only go certain places, this place makes it ideal to walk to places. Staff are humble and go beyond to make needs meet. Rooms are great, AC, hot water and all that work."

"Had an amazing stay with Avantika Taj this month. Rooms have a breathtaking views. Cleanliness,Hospitality is extremely impressive. The hotel is new, hence the service is slow but overall experience is great. The only challenge could be taking 50-60 steps every time ( especially for elders) which needs to be considered before booking as there is no other way to commute. Shall visit again . Thank you ."

"The hotel was the nicest we’d been to in our weeks in India. Several areas stood out in our minds. Wonderfully kind and helpful staff, opening doors, organizing rides, making change. Rooms were lovely, great shower pressure and temp. Nice wall mount blow dryer, comfy bed, air conditioning. Amazing cafe, really fresh and yummy food. I enjoyed the fresh Greek salad, hummus and pita, wedge fries, brownie Sunday. Complimentary breakfast was really nice too. Sid, the owner is always there, looking after every detail. Definitely give this place a shot! About 20 min drive from Ghats, and Buddhist temple. Two Canadians (40s)"
