The flat occupies part of the ground floor of this beautiful house, which is used as a holiday home by a discreet owner. It has its own private, secluded garden, opposite the owner's garden on the other side of the house. The dwelling is very luminous, with numerous windows. A beautiful entrance hall opens onto the garden and leads to a large, comfortable living room, a small bedroom with 2 joinable single beds (80 x 200 cm), for one adult or two children; and a well-equipped kitchen (oven, ceramic hob, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, microwave, etc.) that doubles as a dining room. A corridor leads to the large bedroom (double bed 160 x 190 cm) and bathroom (bath/shower, washbasin and WC (washing machine dryer).
The elegant decor and large, walled garden with garden furniture create a lovely atmosphere.
Several valleys lead down to the sea and Varengeville beach, with its breathtaking cliffs. At the end of the street, a 5-minute walk takes you down a steep path to the Moutiers gorge. The village centre can also be reached on foot via a lovely walk along one of the most beautiful streets in the village.

Wir fangen mal mit den positiven Erlebnissen in der Ferienwohnung an: Ein sehr schönes Haus in wundervoller Lage in Varengeville. Herd, Geschirrspüler und Kühlschrank recht neu sind, ebenso das große Bett im Schlazimmer, dass auch sehr bequem ist. Der Garten ist ebenfalls sehr schön angelegt.Die Wohnung ist insgesamt jedoch recht betagt und müsste umfassend saniert/renoviert werden. Dies betrifft das Mobiliar, aber auch den Zustand der Räume. Beispiele: Abblätternde Farbe an Wände und Decken, defekter Kleiderschrank im Schlafzimmer, Elektrokabel- und Rohrverlegung wie in den 1970ern, in der Küche sehr einfache und unbequeme Sitzgelegenheiten vorhanden (der einzige Platz, um zu essen), ein paar einfache Sitzkissen für die Holzstühle wären schon eine Verbesserung. Das 2. Bett im 2. Schlafraum ist höchstens ein Notbehelf für 1-2 Tage und ebenfalls sehr unbequem. Was uns zudem sehr gestört hat, war die Sauberkeit der Wohnung bei Übergabe. Die Haare der Vormieter im Badezimmer muss man einfach nicht haben. Emilié, die die Wohnung verwaltet und der Besitzer, der ebenfalls im Haus wohnt, wurden von uns informiert. Vielleicht nutzt dies ja den nächsten Mietern.Fazit: In dieser Wohnung sind es zu viele Kleinigkeiten, die kein gutes Gesamtbild vermitteln und den Urlaubsgenuß in dieser wunderschönen Gegend insgesamt leider trüben.

Logement bien agencé dans un très bel environnement. Le seul bémol concerne la seconde chambre : en réalité très petite pièce bien inférieure à 9 m2, ce n'est pas un lit gigogne, il faut désolidariser les 2 sommiers et on est à hauteur du sol, enlever le petit bureau et il n'y a plus de place, pas de vestiaire murale, on peut tout juste ouvrir la porte. C'est une pièce d'appoint pour un enfant ou 2 adolescents mais pas pour des personnes ayant des rhumatismes. À part ça, Varengeville est à découvrir.
