"Extremely courteous staff. Lovely facility "

"Having travelled around India for 5 weeks it was refreshing to find a hotel where we weren’t pestering for reviews every 5 minutes! Maybe that’s because they don’t need to as they already know that their staff are all friendly and helpful, the hotel and rooms comfortable and spotlessly clean, nice food and pool. And all this just a short stroll to all the amenities of North Cliff. We were there when the monsoon started and as we had a late flight they allowed us to use our room until late...

"Nice comfortable stay near the cliff area"

"Hotel is located on the main cliff top by the heli pad. Very conviently to walk straight along to the numerous bats and resturants along the cliff front as well as get to the beach. The room was spacious, clean and working AC, fan and a min fridge. Wifi reception was good and overall a pleasant stay at this hotel."

"Clean and spacious room. The balcony was also spacious. Had a really good time staying there. If you are looking for something clean spacious and budget friendly, just go for this property."

"It looks like a 5 star resort the room is so clean and location is just 10 min walk to the beach"

"I absolutely loved staying here, really beautiful hotel and excellent location. The staff were so lovely and helpful too. I was sad to only stay one night, I’ll come back for sure! "

"No ac"

"Excellent atmosphere and vibes! Staff is always with a smile and very happy to work. It’s a shame I had planned to move elsewhere or I would have happily stayed at this property. P.s as a foreigner here you can apply for UPI the only way to pay with your card all across India"

"Really sweet spot just off the beach up a commerce alley. Jishnu the host was very nice and helpful with getting comfortable. Hot shower if you want it - but I’ve learned to love taking cold showers here - and the bathroom was perfectly clean and well appointed. I will be back here at the Gypsy next year for sure."

"Well-appointed ground floor apartment, good bed, good shower, lots of space. Helpful staff as well - thoroughly recommended. "

"Chambre très austère, pas celle des photos. Pas de serviette de bains. Draps déjà bien vieux. Pas de moustoquaire aux vitres. Emplacement calme et a 2 pas de Varkala beach."
