"Very spacious house with plenty of rooms and outdoor space to accommodate a small to large gathering. This is a great launching point to discover the Westfjords area. The home is well supplied for cooking and has plenty of supplies! There is a natural hot-spring pool nearby (5 minutes). The views from the family room/dining area are beautiful!!"

"This was one of the best views in a hotel that i have ever had. It is so peaceful and truely reflects tbe icelandic way of life. Excellent service and management. This is a must stay for those seeking an icelandic way of life ecperience. Defenitely worth the drive!"

"Unfortunately the owner was unable to accommodate us, but did not communicate this with us. Only when we arrived and found it dark/closed up and reached out to him did we find out. He was very apologetic, but this lack of communication left us scrambling for a place to stay and an extra hour of driving. Not ideal. "

"A nice hotel conveniently located near restaurants, groceries, and the harbor. Wonderfully friendly staff. Large rooms with private baths. I didn't pay for the breakfast because it was ridiculously expensive for what is offered, so don't know if it is good. Overall, a nice hotel in a lovely town. "

"Rooms are not fancy but adequate. Food in the restaurant is very good. You have to try the Puffin appetizer. It’s really delicious. Setting of the hotel is very nice with a river and horses behind the hotel. We enjoyed playing with the “pet” fox that lives on the property. It’s fun watching the fox pester the dog that also lives on the property. "
