We absolutely enjoyed this hotel and restaurant. The food and atmosphere were wonderful. The husband and wife team that cooked and served us in the restaurant were pleasant and kind. We would definitely recommend this place.

The hotel is well located in the centre of Veitshochheim, which is a village on the outskirts of Wurzburg. Wurzburg and its sights are easy to reach by car. The rooms were somewhat small, but very clean. The restaurant on site was charming and had good food and wine.

Nice place with what appeared to be a good restaurant, though I didn't eat there. Parking is a bit far away, 0.3 miles per Google Maps. Also close to light rail but trains to town run only hourly, at least on Saturday.

Overall customer experience
The directions sent by email took us 20km away from the hotel. The latest check in was 23.00pm and we arrived at 22.30 after a stressful drive from Italy since 7am in the morning. There were two members of staff (one male and one female) the first who was not in any way at all welcoming making feel like a total hindrance when we asked if we could have a drink. We were told it would have to be taken to the our room. I really wish we had booked somewhere else for the money we paid for a 6 hour visit. We won't go back or recommend. On a minor positive note the female member of staff did her best to help us.

More of a student Dorm
Wouldn't really call it a hotel room, more of a student dorm. No elevator, no fridge, lots of building noise. "Free parking" means a ten minute walk to a parking lot. Breakfast was included--good, but not much variety. Easy walking distance to the Palace nearby. Owners seemed more focused on running the downstairs restaurant than renting rooms upstairs. Restaurant was very good.

Lovely old world Inn in pretty village
Charming Inn in centre of village. Have to park for free 5 minutes walk away. Bedrooms up several steps so not easy with suitcases. Very nice breakfast. Staff pleasant but not effusive. Village of Veitshocheim on river Main with palace and rococo gardens. Several restaurants to eat in.
