Find the town on the western shore of Woerthersee lake. The Velden am Woerthersee railway stop is a 10-minute walk north of the centre of town. Fly to Klagenfurt’s airport and drive west for 17 miles (27 kilometres) to get here in about 20 minutes. You can also take buses or ferries to get to the villages surrounding the lake.
