Great Stay

Lovely property with everything we could need. Was expecting bunk beds and it was 2 singles - but that may have been a language barrier, and made no difference for us. Incredible outside space - we loved eating in the outside tent

A week in Velines, France

This was a beautiful property set in a large garden. Very secure. Approximately 1.5hrs from Bordeaux and 20 minutes to St Emilion. A brilliant location if on a wine tour. The property owner was charming and helpful. Would thoroughly recommend and would definitely return.

We just got back from an amazing stay at this villa in Vélines, The four bedrooms were perfect for our group of eight and we all had our own space, The garden was a real highlight, we spent most evenings grilling and just chilling under the stars, The location is ideal too, close to some awesome wineries and cute towns like St, Emilion, Only thing I’d say is that the WiFi was a bit spotty at times, but honestly, it was nice to disconnect a bit, Would totally recommend this place for families or friends looking for a relaxing getaway!

Voor de 2e keer hier geweest. Fijne vakantie gehad. Heerlijke plek, super dat tuin zo veilig is voor kinderen! Erg rustig en privé, top! En een geweldig aardige verhuurder!!! Ons Frans is dramatisch maar met Google translate kwamen we er wel uit. Huis is prima, maar wel aardig gedateerd. De vloerbedekking is niet heel fris meer dus had Rituals homespray meegenomen deze keer. Er waren dit keer veel spinnenwebben en spinnen, was fijner geweest als die even weggehaald waren. Tuin was minder groen, maar dat is logisch met de hitte van dit jaar. Volgend jaar gaan we denk ik even naar een andere plek, maar het is wel een aanrader! Ohja…er wordt herfst 2022 airco aangelegd in het huis!

Wij hebben heerlijk genoten van de ruimte in huis en in de tuin. De ruime privetuin met jeu de boules, tafeltennistafel en baskerbalring, maar ook verschillende zitplekjes in de zon en schaduw zorgden voor lekkere ontspanning. Het huis is van alle gemakken voorzien, schoon en lekker licht. Ook op een regenachtige dag is het een fijne plek. In de nabije omgeving kun je boodschappen doen, zijn gezellig dorpjes om te lunchen, zwemmogelijkheid en brocantewinkeltjes en marktjes. Kortom we hebben genoten.
