"I booked two rooms. One of them smelled fresh, the other one had a bit of an unpleasant smell. There is continental breakfast but it's mostly all carbs; no protein like eggs or sausage. I wanted to try The Barn restaurant, which was about a one minute walk away, but it was closed for Labor Day. So if you visit on a holiday, your dining options might be limited. Warning: if you walk anywhere, your walk will begin along side a highway with no sidewalk. Hold your kids' hands tight. But overall it's decent enough and I would go back just for the location. It's a 5 to 10 minute walk to the beautiful Naples Beach. Ask the front desk how to get there if Google Maps gives you a very zig-zaggy route."

"I am so grateful to stay in such a lovely place. I enjoyed the opportunity so close to the beach and also close to shops. The neighborhood is lively as well. The outdoor patio was so tranquil. Kitchen well stocked with cooking items. Communication with the hosts was also very good."

"We had a wonderful stay at this lovely property. We were walking distance to the beach and conveniently located just a short drive to cute downtown Half Moon Bay. The house was spotless and had everything we needed to be comfortable for our 11 day stay. The bed was very comfortable and I appreciated the separation between the bedrooms and living area. I loved the open living space, dining area, living room and large kitchen which made cooking while still chatting with my husband and our friend quite easy. The fireplace was a nice feature that quickly took the chill off on the cooler evenings. The backyard was private. It was nice to have the deck and gas firepit for enjoying the outdoors. We love grilling so having the gas grill available is always a plus. If you keep an eye out you might even catch some local wildlife. My husband caught a glimpse of a rabbit and we both were so excited about watching two great horned owls hooting away on one of the trees surrounding the property. The host was super nice and quite responsive. We would definitely stay again in a return visit to Half Moon Bay! Highly recommend."

"We had a happy time staying in this villa house. It is comfortable and clean. The location is excellent! There are a couple of comments I’d like to share with the owner and management company: 1) The lock of the entry door had some issue to lock outside of the house. Need to try multiple times to lock it. 2) it is good to have private entry to each floor. But, I hope it make it clear in the description the apartment is at the second floor. There are possibly people upstairs and at the first floor. The balcony at the top is only for penthouse. Overall, we had a good time. Thanks! PTW. I wrote this note only to be shared with the owner and managing company."
