This Houseboat features a roomy open living room and Kitchen plan with high ceilings and a cozy porch for relaxing, dining and drinking against a lovely cypress backdrop. Sleeps 7! All of the beds are Full-Size, baby soft, and the 7th bed is in the Loft. Enjoy the Marina Madness and come back to the neat, clean Cypress Cove for some essential R&R!

Fishing Trip

Great stay for fishing out of Venice. Inshore Capt. picked us up right off the back deck. Nice quiet area on a dead-end road very little traffic. Kitchen and living room were very nice. Beds were comfortable. Great back porch for socializing after a day of fishing. The ice machine was an added bonus.

Nice spot in cypress cove marina. Great spot to hunt/fish out of. Nick was accommodating and very helpful both before and during our stay!

A great trip

Loved this houseboat in Cypress Cove. It has a cool deck that we bbq’d, fished and watched the gators on. The fishing charter boat picked us up right from the deck and we had a fabulous day out fishing. The beds were comfortable, the place was clean, and it had everything we needed. Thanks Nick!!

Overall experience was good

The manager/owner of property worked with us on changing our dates to match up with better weather for our fishing charter which was awesome. The house itself could use a deep cleaning there were spider webs and spiders all over the ceilings (we delt with that) the water pressure in the shower was horrible and the septic smell was strong throughout the house. Other then that we enjoyed our stay.

Tuna fishing Trip

We all had an amazing time, the boat was super nice and in the perfect spot. The boat captain came right up to the front porch picked us up and brought us back after fishing. It was the perfect spot! We’ll be back soon!

Great houseboat in Cypress Marina

Clean, spacious and central houseboat in the middle of Cypress Marina. We fished with James as well so the logistics we very easy. Houseboat has a great ice machine, wash and dryer, within steps from Cypress Grill and 5 min drive to Venice Marina. Overall great spot!

Fun place

Fun place for me and my son. Wanted a lot of money on groceries before got there expecting to be able to cook. Oven and cooktop did not work and there was no internet.

Great place on water

Overall, it was a great stay and we were just in and out for a quick one day fishing trip. Host was great to communicate with. Fishing guide can pick you up at house which was nice and dropped us off after refueling. This was for inshore fishing. Great back porch view of peaceful Cypress trees and wildlife. Overall great value.

Fantastic houseboat!!!

1st rate houseboat. A longer walk down the pier but well worth it because you are on the end. Quiet with more privacy, great view of the tuna boats coming and going. Minimal rocking. GREAT ice machine. Easy to find and pull up to for private boats/guides. 6 comfy full beds.

Needs Help

Location is good , Boat needs to be stabilized more, you are rocking always, bath towels are few, wash towels and kitchen towels are none, shower has no pressure , and no functioning coffee pot , had to go to hotel to get a cup of coffee each morning. We could have gotten two rooms and stayed in the hotel for less money and had more amenities. Could be very nice if things were corrected.

Dirty property

The house boat has potential if it was clean. Dirt on everything, floors looked like a barn yard. The wasp nest on porches were everywhere and I for one am allergic to them. Also the couches are worn out and shower is absolutely the worst. A full grown person can’t even stand up and move in that small of a shower. I will never stay here again. I hope you refund my cleaning fee as you said you were going too

Dirty and hot

This house boat was dirty when we arrived. The floors were dirty and there was spiders and cob webs throughout the house. The inside corners of the house and around the furniture had heavy amounts of dust and crumbs from a pour job of sweeping. There were a lot of wasp nest around the camp that we had to get rid of ourselves so we could safely even get into the camp. This camp only has one small bathroom with a tiny shower which had a broken shower door which was covered with a shower curtain and made it hard to enter the shower. The house did not cool properly and we were instructed not to turn the thermostat down past 70degrees which made for an uncomfortable night sleep. The house had poor water pressure as well. There are much better places to stay in this area for the price. We will not be staying here again.
