Budget stopover

This was a budget stopover. Room was functional but hot. We also got bitten to death by mosquitoes during the night. Shower was great and breakfast good. Staff lovely. Mosquitoes were a big negative though.

Convenient for A4. Easy to find. Plenty of parking. Various places to eat in the vicinity. Easy check in. No problem for our dog to stay. Comfortable bed. Good shower. No noise at night. Simple breakfast. Good value.

The hotel was clean and tidy. However, it would be great if they could add an electric plug next to each bed. There were only two electric plugs in the entire room, and both were far from the bed, making it inconvenient to charge a phone.

Probably B&B Hotel in Verdun next time....

Weird welcome, were asked to keep 2m distance from each other even though we are a family. No breakfast bookable, I think they just could not be bothered. Toilet had suspicious brown crusty spots on wall.... other than that, not too noisy and standard Ibis budget rooms, clean otherwise.

At night there were several cars that went wrong in making some noise like it is in the Formula 1. Maybe it is so because the Ibis budget lies on the periphere of the town where they think nobody cares..

Average hotel away from everything

Average hotel. We were greeted by a very unfriendly lady at our arrival on 28 Jul 21. She said that she was the boss and that she ruled her place with an inflexible iron fist during this latest COVID period of "D" variant. Thank god, we never saw this woman again. The other staff that we met the next few days were nice and friendly. By the rate, you should not expect much. Satisfactory room (not comfortable bed); very tiny. The Breakfast is very basic and does not provide much choice or variety. It's a satisfactory hotel if you use it to sleep and rest only.

We discovered the property shuts down during the day until 5 pm. This was a huge problem because I realized I'd left my purse in the room. When we went back, it was closed. I pushed the emergency contact button and a very rude person told me to come back at 5 and then hung up on me. Fortunately a cleaning lady found my purse and reported it through Orbitz (that I'd booked through) and left a phone number to get a hold of her. I was able to retrieve my purse and thanked her profusely.

Virkelig høflig og venligt personale, super rent hotel, gode senge og god morgenmad. Let at parkere lige udenfor og kun få meter til indkøb. Selvom det er et ‘budget’ udgaven af Ibiz så syntes jeg virkelig det er et godt hotel. Specielt var personalet utrolig venlige og hjælpsomme. Det eneste minus er, at alt kommunikation forgår på fransk, men heldigvis kan Google Translate klare det hele. Tak for et godt ophold.
