We have stayed at many places over the years and by far this house has been the cleanest. We only stayed 2 nights but it was perfect. Host was fantastic and gave us suggestions for our weekend.

Nice Property and Great Location

The location of the home is in a good neighborhood and easy walking distance to downtown. The home was very clean and comfortable. Lisa was great to work with and provided everything we needed. I would recommend the property and we plan on staying again when we return to Vermilion.

Lovely stay!

Our family of 5 really enjoyed our stay at Lisa's house. It was clean, comfortable, and close to everything we needed. We walked to shops and restaurants in town and made the easy 20 min drive to Sandusky for softball and Cedar Point. We will happily stay here again. Thanks!

Place was spotless! Bedding in both bedrooms was luxurious. Cold bottled water in fridge! Literally walking distance from downtown with cute shops and cafes. Check in process was super easy. Would absolutely stay here again!

Great little getaway

The house was exactly as described. It is fairly small but fit our 5 person family well. Very close to Vermilion town center and beach too. Lisa even let us check on a bit early which we appreciated. Thank you for the great stay!

This was a great house in a cute resort town! Very clean and organized!!!! They were responsive, thoughtful and even gave us some wonderful baked goods and coffee from the local stores. It was like walking into home from a long travel day!!! Thanks for making this a wonderful trip!!!!

Great location!

This house is in a perfect location. Easy walk into town where there are shops and restaurants and close to the beach (although we were there in October). The house was super clean and had everything you would need. We did not use the kitchen but it was well stocked with plenty of cookware, etc. The coffee bar with fresh ground coffee from the local shop along with K cups was a nice touch and delicious. Owner was extremely helpful and easy to work with. We hope to stay there again next year.

Beautiful, clean, welcoming, the best vacation rental!

The house was perfect for our family of 5. We felt so comfortable. It was spotless. We were amazed by the hospitality of the owners who provided beach towels and a cooler for our use. Nice historic place

Charming, very small old town; houses that were built in the 19th century, lots of trees, nice people, good restaurants. We had a very relaxing time there, even through two exceptionally powerful storms two nights in a row. This was, probably, because we never lost the power, which was a relief to us since we were traveling with handicapped 92 y.o. Lisa was friendly and helpful and fast reacting when we called. Definitely, would love to come back some day

Excellent Location

We spent 3 nights here, with other family members staying a another VRBO about a mile away. Our location was fantastic, about a 3-5 minute walk to downtown and the beach, and the house was extremely clean and just as advertised. The only downside was the lack of a lamp sufficient to read by in the living room, necessitating having to read at the dining room table or in bed, with the overhead and night stand lamps on. Adding one would be my only suggestion. This was our first stay in Vermilion, and we would definitely return.

Great for a getaway!

The property owner was always prompt with answering messages, and she seemed like she was nice. The house was clean and neat, and we were provided with everything we needed and more. We were even greeted with a box of chocolates and a bottle of wine! We liked the little sunroom area off the dining room. It had a table and chairs to enjoy a cup of coffee. The location was great for walking to the shops and restaurants in town, and even the lighthouse and beach. I would have preferred blinds on the kitchen window and back door, but otherwise I don't have anything negative to say about this cute house.

2nd time we’ve stayed and would stay again!

Great location and a cute little house. Beds comfy and owners have stocked house with many extra things to make your stay amazing! (Beach towels, chairs, cooler, coffee, makeup wipes, etc). Only two things I would change- keep a can of cooking spray for guests to use (I think they had one last year, but not this this year and it’s just one of those things I always forget to bring for cooking!) and changing the door code after each stay. I noticed the code was laminated on the house instructions so to me that meant it was the same which made me slightly uneasy knowing anyone whose stayed there could potentially access the house still. We didn’t have any problems or anything I’d just say better safe than sorry!
