Great Place for the family

We were very happy with our stay. There was an issue with the coffee pot, but we managed, the owner said they would take care of it, when I let her know. The "game room" as my family called it was fun for all ages.

Large VRBO rental with many amenities.

This location had plenty of room and games to keep us entertained the whole time. Only issue was that some of the windows/doors did not seal completely and allowed many mosquitoes in during the night.

Amazingly Comfortable

Fantastic amenities in a large cabin setting. Comfortable, quiet, spacious, and everything and anything you may need is there. Each evening we were greeted by the resident deer family. The family could spread out if they chose or came together to watch playoff hockey on the big screen TVs. The deck is spacious comfortable with the feel of being in the woods.would highly recommend.

Our family loved the house and wish we could have stayed longer! Loved the games and deck to hang out on. Got some amazing sleep too! Husband was bummed to see no firepit. Definitely would recommend to anyone or start again!

Perfect location and 5 star Amenities

If you are looking for a place to work remotely or host a family gathering, look no further this is the home is for you! The location is second to none making it easy to go to and from lake activities and the boat dock Katie's lake home has the ultimate layout for everyone in your group to have their own ultra, comfortable space and also plenty of room for gathering in the living room, kitchen, and outdoor accommodations. There are plenty of games both indoors and outdoors for kids! You cannot pass up the indoor/outdoor design of her home, which has various doors and sliding doors to the porch and spacious yard. We greatly appreciated having a king bed and spacious master suite. The kitchen is spacious and everything was spotless and well stocked. Katie certainly has an eye for design, as the furnishings were beautiful and well appointed creating a special ambiance with the lake house vibe! We had some adjustments in our travel plans, and Katie was exceptional to communicate with and also very accommodating, which I will forever be grateful for. We look forward to returning to Katie’s home during our many trips back to Yankton to see family!

Great Host & Great Stay!!

This property was amazing and was perfect for our group. I would definitely recommend staying here while visiting Yankton!!! The house was clean and had a lot of things for the kids to do.

They under sold this property! Great location, great amenities, loved the smoker and deck for gathering. Could use a little more lighting especially outside. We loved playing games around the large dinning table. Owner was very accommodating. Had an interesting encounter with wild life....

Don't Judge a book by its cover

So when we pull up to the house, it looked a little different then the pictures. It had been painted white and I was not sure of the lay out. This could have been my apprehension from booking a property sometime ago on another site. But when we went in the place was great . The only complaint was that it smelled a little musty from probably being closed up for a few weeks after the usual lake season but once we opened a window and let the air circulate it was fine. Would highly recommend it . Especially for a week long lake vacation

Family getaway

We really enjoyed our weekend at this house! We had plenty of space for our kids and grandkids! We loved the game room and all the options to keep everyone entertained. The kitchen was a great space for us to enjoy our meals together! I would highly recommend this house to anyone!

Awesome home!!

We thoroughly enjoyed staying at this home. It was perfect for our weekend! The place was clean, roomy and exactly what we needed for a wedding weekend. The kids loved the game room and we really enjoyed our stay. I would highly recommend this home to anyone needing a place to stay in the Yankton area.

Very nice location.

We had a nice stay. Facility clean and odor free. Very comfortable with nice kitchen. Another 1/2 bath would be awesome. Would happily return. Only downside is excessivwe VRBO & cleaning fees.

Spacious, clean updated home.

We had a lovely time at this property. Our first visit to Yankton. Not as easy walking distance to Lewis and Clark Recreation area as expected, but you would still need to drive there, since that state park is so big. The park is right down the road. Photos do good job of representing the house.

Awesome play to stay

I would definitely recommend this place for a family vacation. Steps away from Yankton Recreation Area. It was awesome staying here. Very clean and it had everything we needed in the home. Appliances, tv, cable, washer, and dryer worked well.

Great weekend

The pictures really don’t do this place justice. Much bigger than we expected and had everything we needed. The kids absolutely loved the game room. Super convenient to the lake.
