Hi Jean, first and foremost thank you for staying at our home :) We appreciate all feedback and take all suggestions seriously. I would like you to please note the most of the fees that you are referring to are not charge by us and we do not keep, most of the fees your speaking about are taxes and local taxes. We do charge a $150 cleaning fee which is pretty standard especially for a 3 floor home for 8 guest. We do not actually make that money as this goes to a cleaning and sanitizing service. In regards to the bed we actually get many wonderful reviews and are often asked for the brand of the bed which is a Vibe gel memory foam mattress, this particular mattress has over thirty nine thousand reviews on Amazon at 4.5 stars. We have multiple properties and use the same mattresses across all the homes and have had great compliments from guest for this particular mattress. The control for the fireplace is next to the tv with all the other controls I’m sorry if you missed it, I personally let you know that on the app when you asked. I do wish you would have communicated a little better as I believe your experience would have changed because of it. Never the less we will take everything you have sent us over into consideration. Unfortunately Christine was Probably one of the hardest guest we have ever had to deal with. She tried to sneak in extra guest so the security would not let her though. Christine booked one day and brought her months load of laundry and asked for the access code to the washer and expected us to purchase detergent for all her loads! As a host we want to make sure our guest are comfortable and happy but christine just kept on calling and calling asking for outrageous favors. This is a brand new home and it has been updated with the modern amenities, by the time they left there was lipstick on the bathroom walls, cigarette and marijuana buds in different corners. We welcome our guest with open arms but this is the kind of guest we prefer not to have. Host beware!
