The cabin was exactly what I wanted. It was so sweet and cozy with a very comfortable bed and seating. The kitchen was super well set up with all mod cons (too modern for me...I had to google how to use the fancy cooktop!). The bathroom was clean and cute and had great hot water and pressure. And there were copius chipmunks!!

Excellent little cozy cabin perfect for me. Kitchen was well stocked with what I needed for small meals made. Bed and bathroom excellent. Was able to enjoy a woods walk in the nearby town forest. Will be back soon. Wanted to add an extra day and that was accommodated with ease.

The Gate House is beautiful!Setting on a wooded gentle hillside with great views in every direction.Bright, very clean, thoughtful and cheerful. Even on a rainy day this cottage is a happy place. Accurate driving directions and easily identified if arriving after sunset.

Very cute cottage! The location is also nice and quiet. The cottage is decorated so beautifully! I just loved all of the details. I’m a travel nurse and needed accommodations for Brattleboro. It was a nice drive getting to and from. I would highly recommend if travelers need a place to stay. Lulu was great! And Tracy is super awesome!

We spent five nights at this property while attending kayak races on the Connecticut River. It is small but comfortable and was perfect for the two of us. The bird feeder outside the front door was good entertainment. Just a note that the cooktop is induction so you have to use their two small pans. This is not a complaint just don’t plan on making a big pot of spaghetti. If we ever are in the area again, we will definitely book this property.
