Quick stay in the Woodsy Room

easy access, great follow through via text. Had to leave too early to experience the breakfast, but room was nice, good A/C on a hot weekend.

Highly recommended!!!

Amazingly beautiful Inn / Bed & Breakfast. We loved our room and the bed was very comfortable! Breakfast was excellent, some of the best food we’ve had traveling. We loved it so much we booked this Inn for next years Versailles Apple Festival

Melanie has done a wonderful job with this home. It's comfortable and after a long drive the bed was so relaxing. Its in Versailles so no need to go driving and distances for dinners, shopping Close enough to the Lake of the Ozarks without the high costs.

I loved the feel of this inn. Very comfortable and unique! The host was very helpful and made a wonderful breakfast. Much better than any hotel you’d stay at. The bed was super comfy and there’s a lovely porch you can utilize and a little sitting garden as well for warmer months!

Quaint and quiet, this was a really nice place. Our room was beautifully decorated but bathroom was across the hall so that made it a 4 star review for me. The owner was very nice and accommodating and served a really nice breakfast. (Note: some bedrooms here have bath inside the rooms we happened to have one that didn’t)

Quick, comfy stay

We had a very comfortable quick stay at this charming inn. We stayed in The Barrister Room. The king sized bed was very comfortable. We are used to a king sized bed, so we were fine with our own bathroom being across the hall & were aware of that prior to booking. The hostess checked with us ahead of time as to what time we would like breakfast & coffee & delivered as promised. We plan on visiting again!

Didn’t realize it was a b&b when booked. The proprietor was kind enough to have coffee available to us since we had to leave early for a golf tournament and couldn’t stay for breakfast, which I am sure was delicious from the aroma of bread baking when I checked in.

Location central, clean and tidy in room could do with some brighter lights quite dark in the bedroom. Didn't see the host only for about 30 seconds at breakfast. Breakfast was average.

Nice stay, we stayed in the Barrister room; did not know until we checked in that the rooms bathroom was located across the hall outside the room. Room did not have A/C and in the 100 degree temps sleeping was a little uncomfortable with only a fan in the room. Will I stay here again .... definitely I'll just select another room.

Woodsy Room at Hawthorne Inn in Verdailles

The woodsy room was cute and small. Barely enough space to walk around a metal framed queen size bed. The shower was too small for my wife to get into. The old wood floor creeked on every step. We never talked face ro face to the person that is the inn keeper. Breakfast had badly burnt coffee. The shower has a large amount of black mold on the bottom of it.
