"Our group of 4 senior siblings and spouses spent a week enjoying this spacious, comfortable and clean home. Although our week was chilly, we enjoyed the pool and the fire pit as weather permitted. The location was great, only a short drive to town and shopping. We highly recommend this lovely rental."

"We really enjoyed our three-night stay here while visiting South Haven for a wedding. The cabin was incredibly spacious and honestly much nicer and larger than the photos made it look. There was plenty of room for our family and kids to spread out and play, and the lake views from the windows were absolutely beautiful. The hot tub was also a wonderful bonus!We especially appreciated how pet-friendly the cabin was. It was thoughtfully stocked with poop bags, a scooper, and even two sets of food and water bowls for the dogs, which made traveling with pets so much easier.We did have a few very minor issues during our stay, none of which were significant enough that we needed them addressed while we were there, but the host was very responsive and quick to remedy everything when we reached out. We really appreciated the communication and attentiveness.The price felt a little steep for us, but the beautiful lake views, spacious accommodations, hot tub, and kid- and pet-friendly setup definitely added value to the stay. Overall, we had a lovely visit and would happily consider staying here again when we're in the area."

"BLUF: for a peaceful, mostly quiet (you can hear some traffic), very pet friendly stay with no neighbors, no hassles and you don't require a 5-star experience with hot tub and Egyptian cotton bedding, this place is AWESOME!Pros:Location: 15 minutes from two BEAUTIFUL dog-friendly public beaches.Convenience: Gas station and convenience store within a 5-minute walk.Proximity: 20 minutes from scenic Saugatuck (which is a picturesque waterside community on the Kalamazoo lake/river mouth with great people, great food, TONS of outdoor activities in the area and an amazing atmosphere and all dog friendly to boot!) and 40 minutes from Holland.The CottageVibe: Rustic, comfortable, dated, but fully functional.Amenities: Two decent queen beds, 55-inch TV with all streaming apps, and a capable climate control unit.Kitchen: Medium fridge and well-stocked with essentials (Keurig, pans, dishes, utensils).Bathroom: Good shower pressure and temperature, though the handle is stiff.Flooring: Polished concrete with an area rug.Cons:Bugs: Ants will appear overnight if crumbs are left on the floor.Connectivity: Zero AT&T indoor cell service; spotty reception near the lake.Pillows: Very firm (recommend bringing your own).Missing Items: No broom, dustpan, mop, bucket, outdoor trash can and no microwave."

"Family had a great week long stay at this 3 bedroom lake house. Wanted a quiet place on a lake but within a half hour of Lake Michigan beaches and this house fit the bill. Spacious master suite is separate from other bedrooms which is nice for added privacy. Two living rooms allow extra room to spread out. Used the kayaks, canoe and paddle boat to explore the lake. Good communication with John, the owner. Shout out to Shannon the housecleaner who mailed us an item my daughter left under one of the beds. Would definitely consider staying at this rental again if back in the area"
