"The hotel was well appointed and the staff were helpful and friendly. We arrived after a stressful day of trying to navigate the train system, so it was nice to be received with open arms. Our room was spacious, unlike some of our other European destinations. Overall, the hotel was well maintained and comfortable."

"Fiorella was extremely helpful. From the excellent directions and pictures to help us find the property, to meeting us there upon our arrival. The explanations of the property amenities and recommendations of local restaurants, right through to showing us on a map the easiest way to get to the port, she was a joy! Friendly and so helpful. We would not hesitate in recommending Vicolo to anybody planning a stay in Civitavecchia. The property is centrally placed for all local amenities. Excellent!!"

"This inn is absolutely wonderful. It seems that it has been recently renovated, and they have done a fantastic job. We were able to easily book private airport and cruise transfers for a reasonable price. The room itself had a nespresso machine and several snacks available, while there was also a kitchenette area for all guests to use featuring cold filtered water, hot water for tea, and cookies. The bed and pillows were very comfortable which was exactly what we needed after a while traveling! Additionally, we were given 2 tokens for free drinks at a nearby restaurant. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it."

"Fantastic stay. Staff was amazing and super helpful in every way, right down to transfers and directions. Breakfast was a bountiful selection of fruits and pastries and by far the best continental breakfastIi have experienced. Dont be fooled by the entrance to the place (the main building is a little run down but it looks like they are renovating some of it). the place is not just clean, but absolutely spotless. View off the sea view rooms is incredible. Cannot recommend this place enough it is a definite must if coming to cruise or Rome for that matter, only a 40 min train ride and no crowds. If more stars were available a 15/5 for sure!"
