This property was beautiful. Woodside cabin was well taken care of. Two drawbacks, the water heat was not the best and the mattress was thin. Other than that we had a nice stay.

We loved everything about the property, great views, amazing atmosphere and so much fun for kids. The only downside, we forgot to stop at a grocery store on the way.

It was a great place to stay for how much we paid. The surrounding area is very scenic and beautiful. The building was great quality, very clean and had exactly everything necessary. Communication was great, they worked with our very late arrival and were very easygoing. I would absolutely recommend staying here, you will not regret it.

Fun Place for a Family Vacation
The Holmstead Ranch is such a fun place to stay. We’ve been there twice and have stayed in a Lakeside cabin and a Cottage cabin. Both were really fun, but we preferred the Lakeside cabin for location and layout, finishes. The amenities are really fun. They have pickleball and a sand volleyball court that we used. It’s also fun to walk around the lake and use the fire pits. The only thing I didn’t like was the futon beds in both cabins were too uncomfortable.

Everything was clean. I found the mattress very uncomfortable and hard. The cabins next to the pond, beautiful photos advertising this place, were not where they put me. I was put in a cabin that was much older, away from the pond. I was very surprised and disappointed.

Hi Marjorie, I'm sorry there was confusion in regards to which cabin you reserved and you didn't enjoy your stay in our Woodside Cabins. Had we known we would have been more than willing to upgrade you to a Lakeside. For future reference, if you'd like a cabin around the lake, those are our Lakeside Deluxe Cabins.

Our family enjoyed staying at the homestead ranch even though it was just one night. Impressed! It’s a perfect place for families with kids. We appreciate all the fine details! What a well thought out place! The kids activities outdoors. Only think that can improve is comfort on sleeper sofa.

Great Family Getaway
We had a great stay at the Holmstead Ranch. Our cabin was in excellent condition and we really liked the granite counter tops and kitchen with silverware provided. The grounds were very well taken care of and the volleyball and pickleball courts were great. We will definitely stay here again.

This is a really nice property for those who would like to get away from it all in comfort. Very friendly and helpful staff. The loft we stayed in was very clean and comfortable, but we could occasionally hear the people in the connected cabin as if they were in the same home.

“Like” is not the word to describe homestead, but LOVE! We absolutely feel at home the moment we came in, especially the accomodating reception, courtesy of Wendy! The lay-out of the property is so well thought of, the zoo, bonfire, grills, to mention a few!

This is by far one of my favorite hotels I have stayed in too date in Utah. It is about 30 minutes outside of St. George, and beautiful. My kids absolutely loved seeing all the animals, and the cabins were adorable. The host working the desk could not have been kinder as well. 10/10, my only recommendation to future travelers is to bring plenty of food. They have a fridge, a stove, and an oven. There isn't any grocery stores in the immediate area. Will absolutely be back, and may book our wedding here.

This is a BEAUTIFUL place....i fall in love with the view to the mountain...is a perfect place for a weekend in family but i recommend that is perfect to go a weekenf with your couple,so romantic and relaxing place.....my cabin was in front of a lake and super clean and has all amenities that you need inside........PLEASE GO !!!

Hard to leave this place and get back to life.
Well maintained room and property. Very peaceful and relaxing atmosphere. A great escape if you lead a busy life. Excellent internet connection and satellite tv.

This property was a great stay! We were happy with everything. The only thing I was kinda disappointed about was the pots and pans to cook with. They could use some better ones. Made it a little tough to cook. But overall we loved the cabin! My son and I had a great time :)
