"I liked the couple that run this hotel at night. They were very helpful despite the fact I speak no French. Entry into the parking garage could be an issue and the gate has to be opened by the gentleman.

"This is a really lovely property with a large lawn and a swimming pool. We had great weather for our week there and enjoyed time by the pool in comfy outdoor chairs. And a super-friendly neighbor’s dog was there each day eager to play fetch. Bedrooms are large and sunny, and most with en suite bathrooms; and the showers were great. The Great Room with overstuffed couches is a perfect gathering spot for groups like ours at cocktail time. The large kitchen is also ideal for a group. Everybody loved having two dishwashers and the laundry facilities. The location is terrific for day trips with easy access to the region and various hill towns and markets as well as the larger historic cities. We would give it 5 stars if it wasn't for the problem with mosquitos. Having the split fans on seemed to reduce the buzzing, but the biting went unabated. Future renters need to be prepared with many forms of repellent.
