Elios Residence

"Gianfranco was amazing! We had a very late train, arriving in Sapri after 9 pm. Most every property in the area would not do a late check in. Elios residence was the only real option and I understood from other reviews that it was a work in progress and that it is being remodeled, etc. Gianfranco met me at 9:30 pm (after a short walk from the train station) and immediately helped me with my luggage, offered bottles of water and showed me the unit and gave me the door code as well as the wifi password. The specific unit we stayed in had a bedroom upstairs with the A/C unit in the bedroom. The downstairs had the full kitchen, bathroom and living area with the sleeper sofa which was perfect for an extra adult. Our son slept there. When we left the following morning we all visited with Gianfranco and by the time we departed we were friends! There is free parking on site as well as on the street. The property is a little uphill in Sapri, giving a beautiful view overlooking the water! It's also located in a quiet area. We will stay again !"

"The whole place oozed old world understated luxury, the staff were very helpful and extremely polite. The private beach was lovely, never busy (in June), and if you don't like small pebbles you can chose the decking section by the swimming pier. Would go again in an instant."
