"The door to my room could not be locked from the outside using the key. It could be locked from the inside, so if I stayed in the room, I felt safe. But I could not leave once my stuff was moved in. I would have reported it, bnut it was clear the door needed extensive repair that I was sure would not be done before I left."

"Hotel was in the perfect location for the Mile Hugh Flea market. Room was clean, and the bedding especially smelled super clean and fresh, but our bathroom had some splatter all over the wall near the toilet that was pretty gross. The hotel is dog friendly, which we really appreciated, but the outdoor area for the dogs has so much dog poop everywhere that you can’t even walk through the grass. I know there’s irresponsible dog owners causing the problem, but maybe have someone come clean it like once a month so it’s actually useable for people who pick up after their dogs. Staff was really nice, breakfast was fine for what it was, the mini waffles were great. Our room was really quiet aside from the highway noise, which is unavoidable when you’re next to a road. But no loud housekeepers or other guests banging around in the halls which was really nice too. We’d definitely stay there again if in the area because the price was right and it was well located. "

"Rooms could be cleaner for the price if not lower your prices. No La Quinta has working bathroom fans either. So look forward to an unpleasant smell for a few hours or less if your window opens! Had deposit held for a reason that they could not explain to me. Something about the room but couldn’t be clear. And mind you I used this hotel many times. Anyway after talking to three different people on different days I finally received my deposit back. No warning no email no call as to why it was being held for over 3.5 weeks. Very disappointed and will not ever return. People listening at your door and can hear people lurking in other rooms and hallways! Sickening and very disturbing to say the least. I am not a criminal and have the right to use a hotel when I choose without being harassed and or have my deposit held for whatever reason!! No explanation at all. So sad and what a way to lose a customer! Never again. And Hotels.com either owns this chain or has special connections. The only affordable chain they offer is Wyndham no more from me!! "
