The Space:
Gorgeous Fam-Friendly: Easy access to Jackson Hole, Tetons, Targhee, Yellowstone
The home is in a quiet neighborhood on the edge of Victor, so you have all the benefits of being near town, but with the feeling of being in the country with unobstructed views of the Big Hole Mountains. A short walk in the summer will take you to free concerts in the park or to the trailhead of a favorite hike.
Rivendell Mountain House offers just over four thousand square feet of living space, six bedrooms, three-and-a-half baths, so is spacious enough to accommodate up to fourteen comfortably. The large kitchen has granite counter tops, stainless steel appliances, and bar stools for an eat in kitchen. We also provide pots, pans, plate ware, and full kitchen amenities. There are some basic cooking supplies in the pantry, and you'll just need to stop by the store for food for the pantry, and you'll be set. There are items for babies, including a high chair, sippy cups, and bibs for your little ones.
Outside, there is a grill, a covered deck, overlooking the gorgeous Big Hole Mountains, and a fire pit. In the garage, you’ll find marshmallow sticks and extra outdoor chairs ready for you to enjoy a fire as the sun sets. In the fall, you can hear the elk bugle nearby!
The upstairs living room has an over-sized leather sofa, with nicely appointed western themes, and additional seating oriented around a large fireplace. The downstairs entertainment and recreational room has a large sofa to comfortably watch movies on a giant flat screen T.V. with surround sound for a theatre-like atmosphere. There is a DVD player and a large selection of movies, along with Apple TV for access to Netflix and Other Media. You can easily access cold drinks from the nearby mini-fridge.
This room has lots of run-around space too, a drawer full of nerf guns to battle it out whether young or young at heart. There is a foosball table, Thomas the Train, Legos, and even an indoor swing. Plenty to keep children of all ages engaged. The cabinets are full of toys and a nearby closet is stocked with games.
:: The spacious Big Hole Mountains Master Bedroom has a King bed, one sitting chair, and two dressers. There is a master suite bathroom with a jetted jacuzzi tub and a two-headed shower.
:: Bedroom 2 (The Cabin Room) sleeps two, with a queen bed, and Room 3 (The Happy Trails Room) with a Rodeo western theme has two twin beds. Both rooms share a guest bathroom. The main floor also has one additional half bath.
:: Bedroom 4 (The Loft) is located upstairs with 4 twin beds and a T.V. with additional seating to watch movies. This room is great for teenagers, or the singles in the group.
:: Bedroom 5 (The Cowboy Room) & 6 (The Grand Tetons Room) are located downstairs. Room 6 also has a King bed, and trundle bed and is attached to a bathroom, accessible to the recreation room and Bedroom 5 as well. This home sleep 16 beautifully!
Each room has plenty of storage space both in closets and in dressers.
There is a crib mattress, and a pack-n-play for little tykes so that you don't have to pack one. Also there is a handmade wooden bassinet for the tiny ones, available in the downstairs suite.
High-speed wireless is also available throughout the house.

The house was great especially if you have kids. Our kids where 9,7,5,3,2 and they had the beat time with the swing and all the toys. The house had plenty of room for all of us to have our space. The kitchen was great had everything we needed to cook our Christmas dinner. Everytime i reached out response time was quick. I would definitely stay here again.
Great house! This is our third year in a row doing our board of directors meeting in this house. Great kitchen, good meeting space, plenty of comfortable rooms for 6-7 adults or more.
House fit our party of 4 adults, 5 teenagers and 2 children comfortably. Lots of games, foosball table and activities to keep everyone busy. Outside had grill, patio table, hammock and fire pit along with a gorgeous view!
We had an excellent time in Victor staying at this property. It was clean and quiet, very well stocked, and had lots of amenities for kids. The property is well taken care of and cozy for being such a large home. Mindy was kind and helpful with our last-minute registration and gave me great recommendations, making our trip memorable for my husband's birthday. It is an easy drive from the property to Jackson, WY, and the national parks. We'll be back next summer!
Very impressed with all of the amenities and cleanliness of the house. Tons of toys for the littles and options for adults. Kitchen was fully stocked and there are 2 fridges/freezers which was a huge help to our group. Large driveway for parking cars. Easy drive into Grand Teton/Jackson and the town of Victor has enough restaurants for days and nights of staying close to the house. The property is beautiful and the backyard area is amazing.
First off, Mindy is wonderful to communicate with and so nice.
Secondly, the house was just perfect for our family reunion. It was clean, the kitchen was incredibly well stocked, the backyard had lots of places to sit and talk or play games, the family room/kitchen was a great gathering place for our large group of 13.
Location is wonderful, easy to get to restaurants close by.
100% would stay here again! Thanks Mindy!
One of the nicest VRBO homes we’ve stayed in. Beautiful home, stocked well with essentials (paper towels, napkins, toilet paper, paper plates, dish washer pods, laundry detergent and dryer sheets). Full set of lovely dinnerware, glasses, coffee cups and pots and pans. Huge game closet for lots of family fun! Mindy was very responsive to any questions we had.
Comfortable, convenient location and beautiful views
Our family met for an explore of Jackson hole area. The house was beautiful and well equipped. All 10 of us had plenty of space with comfortable rooms and beds. Sitting at n back deck looking out at the mountains and admiring the sunset said it all. We only wish we would have had time to have a fire in the fire pit. Thank you for your hospitality. The Reed Family
We were so excited the moment we opened the door. It was the perfect house for my family of 9.The sunset views and the fire pit were a blessing after a long day
In the parks. We were going in and out of Jackson and Teton National Park. The Teton pass opened back up hours before we arrived.
The town of Victor was perfect for us. Plenty of cute places with little or no wait.
We would highly recommend this house for your next stay.
Cons- the pass was non drivable so the ride to the Tetons was 2 hours.
Needed more tp and paper towels.
Pros- Everything else. This house is amazing. High end. Location is about 45 mins to GTNP if the pass is not out which was just bad luck.
Great owner. Would stay here again 100%
I highly recommend this home. This home out did out expectations! The home is in a quaint small town of Victor takes you back to a simpler time. The neighborhood is beautiful with beautiful manicured properties. Quiet area especially at night. The landscape is picturesque. Your 35-40 minutes from Jackson Hole not a difficult commute. Both Yellowstone and GTNP aren't too far away. The house is decorated with excellent taste, has great eye appeal! Decor is fitting for the environment. Rustic! The master bed is a temperpedic the best sleep we've had! My hubs liked so much he wants us to buy our own.
The house is ready with all the amenities to cook, BBQ, fire pit for bonfires, laundry facilities, play room loaded with games and TV. Even an inside swing so cool. Was a highlight for the kids. Mindy is a super host responsive , caring and gracious. We thank you Mindy for sharing this gem, your home with us! We will be back !

Great place to refresh with great access to the outdoors
We loved our stay with 4 little kids the house was safe and fun for them. The house was wonderful for a get away. It was restful and close to all the things we love.
Very well appointed home- everything you need away from home. Home was very clean and located in a quiet neighborhood. Victor was a great location away from busy Jackson Hole. But still close enough to drive to Jackson for activities. Overall an excellent place to stay and highly recommended. 6 adults and 3 teenaged fit well in this home.
We enjoyed our stay at his wonderful home in Victor. Worked out perfect for our group, had all amenities our group needed and the hosts were great.
Nice location in quiet neighborhood, meticulously maintained, quiet and clean.
