Quaint house that has been converted to a BnB. Very nice room, he had a soaking tub in the room. Good breakfast and beautiful views right on the coast.

The Tudor room is perfectly adequate for our needs. Self check-in was convenient. Apart from the lady cleaning a room on our floor (who said hello!), we have seen no-one. We are here one night and have not had breakfast yet. Everything is clean and exactly what we need.

Breakfast every morning was delicious and the staff made sure you were taken care of. The complementary bottled water, soda, & cookies was a great and unexpected. We love the closeness of the beach and the restaurants on Cook Street. The character of the home was lovely and the accommodation of bike storage was appreciated. We enjoyed out 18th anniversary there!

I stayed here with my husband and my mother while we were visiting a sick family member and the staff at the Dashwood Manor was amazing and made us feel like family. They made our stay comfortable and we will absolutely be staying again!

Wonderful historical house. It has comfortable rooms, our room (Cambridge) has a larger soaker tub and excellent ocean views. The dining area also looks out towards the water. This is our second year in a row visiting, and we plan to keep it an annual thing.

I’ve stayed at the Dashwood several times, and it’s always excellent. I feel very comfortable and at home here. Awesome staff, delicious breakfasts and clean, cozy, unique rooms. My favourite is the Dorset. Spacious with its own balcony on the top floor. Perfect view of Dallas Rd and the water.

Beautiful property and very well maintained! Ana and all the staff are absolutely wonderful! Staying here felt like going back in time! The view in front is very calming and Beacon Hill Park next to it is so beautiful (we visited in Spring). The breakfast was also really great and the Chef came to our tables to personally ask if everything was to our liking and even gave us recommendations on where we can go next. Definitely recommend for your next stay in Victoria!

Very unique building. Beautiful character home! Stayed in widsor oak and very pleased with room, tub and space. Very special in how they give you directions to get into your room with a letter with name on it. Breakfast was even catered to meet mine and my partner's difficult dietary restrictions as were both have celiac disease and i am vegan. Location is amazing right on Dallas, near water and park. Always wanted to stay in this building back when I was living in Victoria. Very glad I finally stayed in it when back visiting. Highly recommend!!

Hello Shuk,We apologize for the oversight regarding the chocolate sauce. We've spoken to our chef since, and have taken in account that not all guests love chocolate sauce with their pancakes. We'll serve it on the side next time. We do list our breakfast menu at the sign by the breakfast room entrance. We also encourage our guests to notify us of any dietary preferences beforehand, so that our chefs can better cater to dietary requests or preferences. Beautiful spot right on the water I had asked for a quiet room and it was perfect. We arrived with very heavy bags and Iain was so cheerful with helping us get to the Windsor Suite on the 3rd floor. And the breakfast bought to our room each morning was a blessing -as my husband wasn’t well and we didn’t want to possibly spread germs in the dining room. Five stars everyone would love to visit again in summertime

Absolutely a beautiful place to stay. My only negative was the fact that my room was right above the kitchen and was woken up by the staff around 530 am. Other than that, perfect.

Very quaint and cute old house, well maintained and designed to be comfortable and still maintain the old feeling of a Manor. Super friendly staff too, and lovely breakfast. Will stay again if we go to that area!

We loved the property and room we chose at the Dashwood. Breakfast was delicious and always delivered to our room on time. The staff was also super helpful and courteous. The building itself is beautiful and cozy. We did have a couple issues during our stay - we were unable to use the heater during our entire stay. We mentioned it to the staff a couple times and they tried to to help us turn them on but it seems they were broken for our stay. Unfortunately it made our room quite cold which made breakfast and using the Jacuzzi pretty uncomfortable. We had also requested a late checkout which we had confirmed with the front desk before our stay. We asked again the day of our checkout to make sure that we were still able to have a late checkout and we were told.it was not possible. Not the end of the world but put a little wrench in our plans. Was such a a nice property and the staff was so kind - was a bummer we weren't able to enjoy it fully

This property was in a beautiful location overlooking the ocean. It is walking distance to restaurants and some shops and is only about 20 minutes walk to downtown Victoria. The staff were lovely and the rooms were quaint and comfy.

My third time staying at Dashwood. I think this will become my go to place while visiting Victoria. Our son attends university in Victoria, so we visit frequently. Very comfortable place, quaint, elegant, quiet, convenient, beautiful location, friendly, welcoming staff, delicious breakfasts. AND, so nice that there are complimentary cookies and beverages in the dining room kitchen! Thank you, Dashwood! We appreciate you!! It is a dilemma to leave such a great review, because I want this place all to myself and always a room available. HAHA. Such a gem of a place!!
