the motel seemed fine and the staff was courteous especially since we got in very late due to the ferry from port angeles. However, we found that there were roaches and bed bugs!!

I inspected the room, and it has been rented every night since June 15th and no comments on that matter..You, yourself, admitted the place you stay previously had bed bugs and I feel you brought a stowaway with you. Seems likely since only one adult pest was found

Manager and staff were super friendly upon arrival. They were more then welcoming accommodating me and my dog. Area is quiet and within walking distance to downtown. I would definitely stay there again!

Quiet place run by a nice fellow. Had candies for the kids at checkout. He has plans to renovate the bathrooms but they are fine now, just a little dated but spotless.

Smoking permitted rooms, really?
Motel is a bit sketchy, but ok. Worst part for us was the pervasive smell of smoke in the room. Would never have taken the room if we had known it was a smoking room.

Excellent, clean The only bad part it was that there were some sketchy guys outside that looked a little scary But once inside the room was perfectly clean and very comfortable

Could walk to fisherman's wharf from the inn (long walk though). Good Price and accessibility to parliament buildings and getting in/out of the city.

The beds were nice, with excellent soft clean sheets and pillow cases. There were too many smokers hanging around with their smoke rolling in our windows, which had to be open to cool off since there is no A/C. The oscillating fan did a good job of cooling in lieu of A/C.

Never judge a book by its cover.
Was worried on arrival. The exterior and surrounding area of the building looked shady. Thought about just leaving and finding a different place, but we went in and was quite surprised. Nice large two bedroom room with everything we needed. Glad we went in.

Everything was disappointing, the room, service, location. The owner was not happy I asked for extra towels all the time. There are four of us and there were just a couple set of towels.

It was inexpensive in comparison to some of the other hotels in downtown Victoria; so you get what you pay for I guess. The bedding was stained, and some dirt in weird places. We slept in our sleeping bags, just to be on the safe side.

We had a great stay at the metro Inn I would recommend this inn to all my friends . The staff was great and friendly and the room was clean and comfortable. If u want a wonderful stay in Victoria please please go to Metro Inn, they will treat u great.

Inviting, clean, homely and affordable
This motel is much more pleasant and clean on the inside than it looks on the outside. Comfy and clean beds, working and useful kitchen, and located in a quiet place. Excellent service, always had new clean towels and they were able to accommodate for our late arrival. A homey stay, sufficiently comfortable especially for its pricing.

2 nights larger than most hotels I have stayed did not hear noise from others good coffee (van house) had problem with coffeemaker was able to mciver to drink coffee ie did not flow through somehow whether it is broken or way I put 6 cups of h2o in

the office was very helpful . Good, cheap, bus service to and from Victoria downtown and Sidney. Wifi was poor: I had to sit outside room to use wifi.
