"This property is very well maintained and very clean considering the vintage exterior and interior of the motel. This is perfect place to stay if you just need to sleep and go. The only concerned I have is the fact the owner scanned my drivers license and credit card to his computer, I was a little shocked to see my driver license on his screen. He assured me it gets deleted when I depart. Maybe I'm too paranoid or maybe because my credit card was compromised twice this year. I don't mind showing my ID and putting my card in the machine, but not saved on a computer."

"What a beautiful spot and a rare gem with a huge games room. We had a great time staying on big Rideau, we had three families staying together with 4 kids aged 5-14, we just wished we had booked it for longer. The house is beautiful and very nicely appointed, tons of activities for the kids, they had a blast with the games room, the arcade and the pool. Everything is setup to accommodate large gatherings and the host is quick to communicate and support. Bonus amenities are the beautiful trails at the nearby conservation area and there is a boat launch not far away in Portland (although there is a small launch at the property that could accommodate shallow draft boats.)."

Large family room with cozy fireplace. We enjoyed our stay, and with nice pre-fall weather visiting Perth and around. Host Shannon was accommodating answering our questions quickly."
