"We loved the Rendezvous hotel for its prime location, near to Flinders Street station and tram routes. We had a fabulous welcome from Ryan on reception who gave us Brits lots of tips about places to visit and how to get around the city. It is a beautiful historic building, the public areas downstairs were gorgeous. Some of the upstairs hallways could have done with a good clean/vacuum and, although our room was well appointed and superficially clean, there was a lot of dust around the fridge and the carpets were grubby in hard to reach spots. The breakfast buffet was excellent, just one downside was a lack of hot plates. Despite a few niggles with housekeeping, we would stay here again."

"FYI I was in an Accessible room. Staff were all friendly and helpful. Included breakfast was appreciated as it was a hot buffet not just continental selections. Room was new looking and clean. "

"Room was great but everyone in the hotel checking out at 10am is hard, had to wait ages for lifts, we had a lot of luggage and a trolley, but only access to room has stairs"
