"Hotel is pretty rundown. I feel like whoever did their floors did a terrible job… The floors look dirty no matter what. But, they also were literally dirty and had a lot of debris/splashes, etc. both in the lobby and in the hallways. The room itself, the floor was fairly clean but still looked dirty, a lot of stains, and very cheap material for the flooring. Immediately when I arrived , I checked the mattress for bugs, no bedbugs thank God. But mattress was old, tattered, and had a lot of stains on it. Cracks in the walls, rust dust and generally worn down fixtures in bathroom, and main area of room,all throughout. Staff was very rude when I checked in, older woman snapped at me and wanted to argue about the difference between Hotels.com versus Expedia. Seemed very irritated that my reservation was booked through a service. They charge you for parking, immediately. When I checked out the person tried to charge me again even though I was made to pay at check-in. Both times, the front desk staff was dismissive, impatient, condescending. I could smell cigarettes and weed in the stairwell Friday night when I got in. The breakfast was pretty average for a hotel… The breakfast server stood and stared at people while they were making their plates, uncomfortable. I will not stay here again."

"My room as always was clean comfortable and quiet and very well kept. This family owned hotel does an outstanding job of taking care of their repeat customers!"

"The hotel was very clean and the rooms were spacious and comfortable. The staff were friendly and responded quickly to requests. The room overlooked the river and there were many restaurants and shops within walking distance. I would highly recommend! "

"I stayed at La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Niagara Falls and overall the hotel was clean, especially compared to my previous stay in Washington DC. However, we did experience one major issue—there were bedbugs in the room. I immediately informed the front desk, and the staff member was helpful and offered to move us to another room right away. While I appreciate the quick response, the situation was still very concerning. Even after changing rooms, I felt worried about possibly bringing bugs home with us. Cleanliness is very important, and I hope the hotel takes extra care to prevent this issue in the future."
