The property is old and needlework, but I don't think Acom Hotels wants to spend the money. For 2full days and 3 nights (out of 4), the front desk promised to have a repair person fix the stuck stopper in the bathroom sink. No such person ever showed, even though he was supposedly on the property during the day.
But the real problem with the room is the lighting. There are NO lights to light up the room in the evening or early morning. There are small reading lights on each side of the bed, but that is it. There is a very large floor lamp; but, the light bulb they use is smaller than a christmas tree light, and is effectively useless to light up the room.
