Modest price for Spartan accomodations
This converted nursing home, that is now a hotel, is clean and in good repair. The staff was friendly and helpful. The room was about as Spartan as I have experienced. No TV, no clock or radio. No electrical outlet in the bathroom. The king bed was comfortable. It was provided with two twin-size comforters and two pillows. The fresh gray color paint on the walls of the room retained the institutional feeling of a nursing home. The price of the room was modest. So we were satisfied with our Spartan accomodations.

Best family stay in Vienna!!
This is my favorite hotel in the world!! We stayed with our 4 kids and had the best time. I lived everything about this hotel.

It’s in a quiet location next to the theme park and a shirt walk to the centre. Would definitely recommend if you’re looking to do Vienna on a budget

It was very stylish in a kitsch fashion yet with all modern facilities. Small details would make it even better. There was no coffee in the room but there was tea. It would be nice to have the option if I so desired.

The staff are extremely friendly and helpful. The room was tidy and clean. The only thing I wasn’t sure about is the lack of electric points in the room and no TV.

A lovely stay at the Magdas. Would definitely go back. Nice room, very clean. Good shower. Excellent breakfast. Very well located in the Prater area. Interesting history, a beautiful park, excellent for a nice jog or walk. Loved the area. Easy access to trains and transit. The staff were very helpful and friendly. Nice lounge with grilled sandwiches available in the evening. Such a fabulous story to the hotel as well. Inspiring.

Gem hidden in quiet area
Great staff with cute decor and funky rooms. Located in quiet, almost residential area, but yet easily walkable to so much. Great food too. Loved their Greek salad!!

Recommended hotel!
It was a great week with a friend in Vienna. Magdas hotel is super nice. the crew is wonderful and the atmosphere is fresh and young. Breakfast was super good. everything is clean and opened. Big rooms and nice shower.

Transportation is close & easy
Very clean & comfy. Transportation easy. But an 8 ticket from local store. Each ticket is good for 24 hours and you can share them. Good on all transportation. We shared them with another couple. You can tear them apart it you want to go separately.

very nice room. stayed only for one night. the room is very stylish and unique and area is calm and quiet. i didnt have any bad moments during the stay only thing that i would add is small fridge. also very good roce for vienna

New and clean hotel with spacious room, it takes around 5 minutes to the tram stop, quite close to the amusement park (You can hear people screaming from that direction and share the joy.)

Would not recommend, too far from major attraction
I would not recommend this hostel unless you want to be close to the amusement park. Aside from the park, it is far from any major sites. It can be difficult getting into the city. Its basic and pricey for its location.

It's fine but probably I will not book it again
It is a pretty little hotel with unique decoration. But the neighborhood is not feel like safety and if you want to take the metro or bus you need to walk more than 15 minutes (with that neighborhood it feels more than that), the bed is not comfortable and the menu in the coffee bar is more for vegans. The staff very friendly

Clean, well-managed hotel with great views of the Prater and the Riesenrad. The social mission is wonderful, but the place is also charming and tidy on its own merits. Highly recommended for an affordable stay in Vienna, especially if you plan to wander the Prater.

Within view of the famous ferris wheel at Prater park. 10 minute walk to transit station, from where Trams or Underground could take you almost anywhere in the city. Great breakfast with good international spread. Nice little bar/salon for sandwiches, pastries, or a glass of wine/beer.

Definitely not value for money. Hotel is not like in the pictures, it may have been when it was first built but it’s in need of a good clean. Bedding and towels where clean but the chair in the room was dirty as were the carpets. I asked for a kettle to make up a babies bottle, the kettle was had liquid already in it and was dirty. Not a chance I would use it to make a drink for my self never mind a baby.

Pleasant, nice balcony.
Overall it was a pleasant stay. The room had a nice balcony and very comfortable bed. The lack of air conditioning in the hot Vienna Summer was a bit of a problem. You are provided with a good fan, which you needed. However although it didn't worry me it was a bit noisy and sometimes kept my wife awake at night. The shower and bathroom was OK but a bit basic
