"The condition of the building was awful. The entrance, stairways, and hallways were dark, poorly maintained, dirty, and did not feel safe. My family, especially my children, did not feel comfortable staying there. I would not recommend this property to any family traveling with children. In addition, the unit immediately adjacent to the apartment appeared to be used as a public gathering place for religious activities. "This is the most affordable 5* in the center of Vienna. It is extremely well located - it is a block from the main opera house and very close to the Theater an der Wien. We stayed there in 2013, and again in May and June, 2026. It will be our "go to" hotel in Vienna. There were a few minor annoyances (rough towels, late dining in the bar required using a QR code, and had loud music, cheap furniture) - all minor issues."
