Booking went quite well and Maxime was friendly.
The house is spacious and has historic features alongside chic decor and fancy kitchen. It has a lovely outlook onto the old church and stream.
There was some confusion about whether we have to pay a cash deposit though this was quickly sorted and dismissed.
The bedrooms are large in this recently renovated house. Lovely wooden floors and original doors. The garden is quite small but just big enough to get out of the hot sun for evening dinner.
There were no shops open in Vignec over the summer, apart from a bakery Tuesday and Thursday afternoons and an adventure equipment shop but plenty in Saint Lary. A small children park on the way there.
A great place to stay for mountain walking and swimming in the river.
