"Very charming hotel, not state of the art but rather time travelling 50 years back. With some careful renovation it could easily earn 5 stars. Superb location! Good food for dinner with reasonable pricing. Underwhelming breakfast. Restaurant staff could be a bit more empathetic. Overall an authentic and good experience. Do not expect more than 1960‘s accommodation in terms of facilities."

"Lovely hotel directly overlooking the fijord from our room. Dining was excellent, truly enjoyed both our meal as well as the wait staff Artemis. She was very friendly,helpful and we enjoyed our conversations with her throughout dinner. Bar was also excellent, lovely and different cocktails, it was also nice to have the shuffelboard in the bar area. Also amazing views of the fijord from the bar area. Would highly recommend this hotel!!"
"A most stunning location with beautiful views of the fjord. Everything in the house was top notch and well thought through. The kitchen had all the necessary gadgets, utensils and crockery. The living room had very plush comfortable sofas. The beds were comfortable. The linen and towels were clean and neat.
The only thing that was a bit odd was that such a big house for 8 people had only 1 bathroom. There were 2 toilets though, which is a good thing. Parking place just next to the house. Overall, I would still give it a 10/10."

"Overnight stay with family and dog. The communication was quick, easy and efficient. Our cabin was 4 bunks. Was very warm and massive rain overnight, we had the windows and door (part) open and all slept really well. Felt safe. Great activity room in the guesthouse. Nice walk and food at the Yppal restaurant (book in advance for great view of fjørd). "
