"Great hotel that had everything we needed. Super friendly staff and super clean. The location is perfect and the views are amazing. The room had everything we needed and the breakfast everyday is amazing! They have great dinner options too. Just book it."

"I believe my review may be a little off due to what we expect in the U.S.. Breath taking views and relaxing stream that runs by the back door of the cabin. Lots of easy walking around the cabin. Not a lot of aminities in the town to choose from but you are only 30 minutes from Voss and 30 minutes from Vorenfossen. The negative, The beds were more comparable to cots, probably more typical in European travel. I wouldn't recommend the cabin for more than 4 adults and 2 kids. Its a struggle to sleep 6 adults in this cabin. There is no staff onsite for the cabin, the restaurant checks you in. There were issues with the cabin that need to be addressed. No control of the thermostats so the cabin was extremely warm, had to unplug the heater main control to be able to sleep. Electrical short in a light switch that was tripping the breaker for downstairs outlets and stove fan and light. Emailed the operators as that's the only way to contact them, they are aware so hopefully they fix the issues before the next guests stay."

"A fine place to stay in Ulvik. Our room was completely adequate, although the bathroom and specifically the shower was a bit grungy. The room was quite dated, which was to be expected, but was older than it appeared in the photos. The shower had trouble training, and there was visible discoloration around the basin."

"Our group of three women absolutely loved our stay. The house itself met all our needs and provided such lovely views of the fjord and mountains. We went on a couple very beautiful walks right from the house, including across the bridge.The house also provided a great "Basecamp" for our activities as far as Flam and Bergen. The drives were absolutely stunning everywhere we went."

"The access to Voringsfossen is unmatched. The hotel is literally at the top of the waterfall. We were able to walk around the waterfall after and before the other tourists could get there. You could see down the canyon from our balcony. The dinner in the restaurant was excellent and the morning breakfast was good. The staff was friendly and helpful. No hotel in the area could match the benefits of the Fossli Hotel. "
