"To begin, Finding the key box was very difficult because the box is concealed behind a bush ( a local resident had to guide us)-never try this in the dark as it would be impossible to find it, many yards from the building where the unit is located. Then, once one makes it to the 8 th floor of building “ C” ( buildings are not clearly marked by the way) the key does not open the door. It’s unfortunately that simple: an impossible task for a paid guest to use the premises advertised & paid for....

"What an amazing property! Outdoor space with pool, BBQ, dining table and sun loungers was used frequently. All bedrooms were a good size. View from the upper terrace was breathtaking. The walk to Luz beach gave us our daily exercise. Be prepared to purchase all paper products(toilet paper, paper towel, facial tissues) and meal preparation necessities ( even salt and pepper) No welcome package like the many places we have stayed at so we needed to hustle out to get provisions for our morning...

"We had a fantastic holiday. Martine and Dirk are lovely hosts, so welcoming and friendly. The house and the pool are immaculate and very well looked after. We arrived to a fridge full of goodies and food for our first evening - a lovely surprise. Lots to see and do nearby and they provided fantastic suggestions for local restaurants which are not too far away. The pool is perfectly situated and is bathed in sun all day. They have a fabulous pool side house where you can also rest in the shade....

Denise was extremely friendly and knowledgeable about the entire area and kept us well supplied with wood for the little stove. "This house is charming and has lots to offer in warmer weather than March. Luckily the fireplace in the main living area had a blower and there were two heaters because there is no central heat. We blew the fuses several times using the heaters and hot water or cooking. Electricity is lacking and the listing says there is an oven, washing machine and two showers, this is not so. Also the stove is a two burner cooktop . BUT...besides the inaccurate amenities we enjoyed the ambiance of the house...
