What an amazing place to find!! We loved our lodging and could not have enjoyed it more. The bathrooms are modern and the beds so comfortable. Walking the grounds was a perfect way to spend some time. They delivered fresh bread everyday and the breakfast we got was delicious. Nice stay at a 100 years old + house. The domaine is very rustic and very nice. Staff is very friendly and the breakfast is very good. Warning, as the house is over 100 years old, there is no AC, could be an issue for some but with the fan we were ok. The shower is a bit small for taller individuals and hot water takes a bit of time to arrive. If you keep in mind those details, the stay is amazing and very unique in the middle of Vila Real.

This is a truly beautiful location- a 5 acre well cared for reserve along the river which isolates you from the surrounding town. Staff, who live and work here were lovely. The main house, where we stayed, was full of history and had spacious, comfortable rooms. Also a great outdoor pool and a relaxing 1 km walking loop around the property.
