"Perfect spot to stay in the centre of São Bras de Alportel, with easy parking to then explore on foot. A range of restaurants and cafés, plus a local supermarket and Pingo Doce if you want to take a snack back to your room, to eat on your balcony. Staff were friendly and very helpful. Hotel is traditional, but has modern air con with a lift for all floors. The rooms are well kept and very clean, with a mini fridge and flat screen TV. Thank you Monica and the Breakfast chef for a lovely stay."

"The proprietor Rose was clueless about VRBO and stated the room we reserved was already occupied. Her spouse Gino was away for the night - and she didn’t know what to do. I suggested we needed a room for the night, if she would be kind enough to direct us somewhere. We found a 3star hotel 2 blocks away luckily. "Great location, no traffic,plenty of bars, cafes, restaurants and shops. Hotel provides free WiFi and pool towels. Water provided. Air conditioning. Room very clean.Some friendly staff, others need to smile more. Coffee machine at breakfast great! Margherita pizzas were good! Negatives- on check in, not told about ferry to Spain, land train to beach, WiFi password,breakfast, events that were happening in the square- very poor communication. Room was a classic but very basic, ‘mini bar’was a campervan fridge, not offered upgrade or given wine in room as per booking on arrival. Mattress was firm. Mould in shower. Pools didn’t look or smell clean. Property looking tired in places, needing new flooring, carpet, plants dead on rooftop, rooftop plunge pool in red, table broken on rooftop bar, Breakfast ..minimum offerings. Ok stay for a couple of nights stay."
