FRUSTRATING

Anyone renting this property should know the following info. We rented through VRBO but were directed to TRAVELSCAPE LLC. Travelscape took our payment and said further communication would be by e-mail. They were not on my VRBO app. We never heard from them again and could not contact them. Since we had no address or check in info it took us 2 hours to find Vila Cacela. It's a HOTEL not a B&B!! The hotel was ok and could only get internet connection in the lobby. Luis, the owner, was helpful filling us in on the info we never got from TRAVELSCAPE. The breakfast which was included was good. Sheila and Roy

Bra rum och service

Mycket trevligt, super frukost och bra service, men lite tråkigt läge - dvs vi hade tänkt oss närmare stranden (dock bara 3 minuter m bil).

Uncomplicated staff, great breakfast, small room

Friendly and uncomplicated staff, great breakfast, room a bit tiny. But you do not go there to stay in a room. You need a car - but parking on the hotel premises.

Worth the search!

We also had struggles to find the Hotel, put the street "Av Manuel G. Rosa Mendes" in your GPS to find it. Once we found it we were surprised in a very positive way. Big, clean rooms, very nice staff and a lot of nice restaurants within walking distance. Also incredibly good breakfast with a lot of fresh fruits and fresh orange juice. Beach 5 minutes away by car. We enjoyed our stay very much and would absolutely recommend!

The hotel was ok but it was situated in a remote area, definitely need transport. Back door in bedroom had signs of being broken into, but not while I was there. Wouldn't stay there again.

Camas muy pequeñas.

Las camas individuales twin son pequeñísimas, como de solo 180cm x80 cm, lo que hace que sea muy incómodas para dormir. El wifi no llegaba bien a la habitación. Precio caro para una habitación y unas camas tan pequeñas. Buen desayuno.

Nice place off the main tourist trail.

The hotel was rather hard to find (a street number would have helped), but very nice when we eventually arrived. Very clean and fresh, a nice room. Could have done with a chair in the room; and according to the website there should have been a tea-making machine and complementary water, but there was no sign of either. Nice breakfast, good spacious parking behind the hotel. Beach a long way away but OK by car: and a very nice beach when you get there.

Wonderful stay at Vila Cacela!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. The room was comfortable and clean, and the staff was so warm and welcoming. The breakfast offered a nice asssortment of hot and cold food, all of it delicious. They also gave us a wonderful tip on where to eat and we absolutely loved it. For authentic Portuguese seafood and atmosphere you can't beat 'A Companesa'! And it is just a few yards from Vlia Cacela. We highly recommend this lovely B&B. We will definitely stay here again when we are visiting the Algarve!

Pequeno Hotel Charmoso!

O hotel é muito charmoso, com decoraçaão bonita e cheia de pequenos detalhes que fazem a diferença! Café da manhã muto saboroso, com muitas opções de fruta e um suco de laranja natural delicioso. Mas a recepção calorosa, a disponibilidade de toda a equipe que trabalha no hotel foram fantásticas, fizeram nos sentir em casa. Ótimo custo/benefício!

Habitación y desayuno bien. La playa la "Lota" está cerca (en coche menos de 10 minutos). El entorno: Se come muy bien en "Fabrica" (10 minutos) y en "Cabanas" (antes de llegar a Tavira).
