"Lovely welcome Beautiful spacious room Fantastic rooftop bar Great breakfast choice Hotel is not far from La Rambla and had some lovely small traditional bars and restaurants in the area. Only one downside in my opinion. At night, the immediate area outside of the hotel had a lot of vagrant/undesirable types which our taxi driver also warned us about. Typical of a big city perhaps."

"This was a great hotel and so convenient for the hectic train station! It was very quiet and the rooms were fantastically themed! It was also very quiet in spite of being above the trains and busses! We had a great view of the city and were able to walk around or metro to El Nacional, Passeig de Grassa and La bouqeria! "The property/hotel is a mix of old and modern, the rooms are comfortable and spacious with everything you might want to hand; the communal areas are steeped in history and luxury; the bar and breakfast area are a mix of the two. Staff are super professional and helpful, they work incredibly hard on reception as they often seem to have cruise people all leaving at once but without issues. Location is perfect 2 min walk to the “5th avenue” type shops and only a few more minutes to Las Rambles (but far enough away). When returning to Barcelona would definitely use again"

"The only real issue I had was at Airport. I had to call the hotel a few times to ask them where to get their shuttle. I was told Parking Lot G. I assumed it was next to Lot F. I was wrong. I had to call once again. The G lot was at the opposite side of the big parking structure. I also had to wait quite a while for the shuttle."
