This place is amazing. Gorgeous views all around. Sipping coffee on the deck is such a great way to start your day. End the night with a dip in the hot tub or a game of pool. I can’t rave enough about how perfect this place was for our getaway.

Cozy, with amazing views!
Stayed at this property for my husbands birthday and it did not disappoint. The home is cozy, beautifully decorated and has views that are amazing! We loved the fire pit, hot tub and pool table to help make the visit so fun and relaxing!

Wonderful location and beautiful views
We took our teenagers and 2 of their friends and we all loved the house. The pool table was fun and we played board games as well. The hot tub was very nice with its own fantastic view and at night you can see lots of stars. The house was close enough to get to Boone quickly but far enough away to feel more remote. The porch was nice with lots of seating and we enjoyed the mornings and evenings out there. Close to tubing, shopping in Boone, Grandfather Mountain and even biking the Creeper Trail in Virginia. Great place to stay.

Incredible View
We have been staying in this area for 10 years over the 4th of July and have yet to find a view like this. Just incredible from every window. The cabin was spotless, communication with host immediate and we really enjoyed having the pool table on the main floor so that everyone was engaged! This was the first time that we did not have central AC and in July I feel like that should be considered. There are window units but NC in July is hot and the temp inside stayed around 80 during the day so just keep it in mind. We were gone most of the time during the day and used fans when we were there. Nothing to keep us from enjoying this property again!

Great views
Perfect for a party of six. Traveled up for an adventurous weekend with friends and made this our landing spot between Boone, NC and Damascus, VA for the Virginia Creeper Trail. Beautiful home, wonderful views. You're truly in the clouds in the morning. Thanks for a great place.

Great Mountain Getaway outside of Boone
We just returned from our stay and had a wonderful time in the mountains. This property has fantastic views, was clean and cozy, and close to Boone and other attractions. The owner was fantastic with communicating and providing lots of ideas for activities in the area. We had a great spring break and were very happy with the property

Simply Perfect!
Our experience was absolutely wonderful!! The ease of booking this family weekend getaway was so easy. The home, location, and views were perfection! It is like a little piece of heaven on earth. I couldn’t have asked for a lovelier stay. Every detail was perfect! The suggestions of things to do/places to eat were wonderful and extremely helpful. We especially enjoyed the nearby unmarked hike to a beautiful waterfall. The place was immaculate and comfortable. Both my teenage sons said to me, individually and unprompted, ‘You did good with this, Mom.’ I mean, if that doesn’t convince you that it’s an amazing place to stay I don’t know what will! I would HIGHLY recommend this place to anyone. You will not be disappointed.

Beautiful house and excellent location
This is an excellent place to stay, close to Boone, NC, Blue Ridge Pkwy, and all the area has to offer. This property was clean, beautifully decorated “mountain style” , and well-appointed, with outdoor hot tub overlooking an incredible view. A note for renters: personal toiletries should include Kleenex tissues, shampoo, shower soap, & body lotion.

This home is fantastic! The porch is to die for. We started each morning with coffee on the porch and ended each evening with an adult beverage on the porch. Very restful. And it’s very convenient to Boone.

Wonderful location for Appalachian State access
We stayed here while celebrating our son's graduation from App State. The house easily accommodated our family, had a wonderful deck with gorgeous views and a pool table in the center of things that allowed folks to play pool and not be isolated from others not playing. (when pool tables are in the basement it can divide the group). The hostess sent great recommendations for things to do in the area and was very responsive. The house was also very clean. I would highly recommend this property. One note, obviously this is in the mountains and the gravel road leading into the house is steep. You must have a vehicle that can travel easily up a fairly steep terrain.

idyllic homebase for our Boone area Spring Break
Blue Moon cabin was well-appointed with amazing panoramic views. Stone Creek Estates is a quiet development (at least in March) with cabins well-spaced, affording lots of privacy. We loved watching the neighboring herd of cattle (& one donkey!) ascend the hill top every afternoon. Also, walks around the Stone Creek mountainside development became a daily activity, conveniently located right outside our front door. The weather was blustery the week of our stay, so we also spent a lot of time inside the cabin enjoying the gas fireplaces, playing billiards, and having quiet family time. We will definitely consider returning to Blue Moon on future visits with our graduating high school Senior, who committed to App State during our stay at Blue Moon!

What a dream! Blue Moon Lodge is absolutely gorgeous. The view is breathtaking, the house is cozy and well appointed, and the location is great! My family loved the hot tub overlooking the mountains, and the indoor fireplaces. Kathryn was fantastic to work with and made our stay extra special with a gift for my son to celebrate his 6th birthday. We had a great time at blue moon lodge! The location is great and the view is gorgeous! The deck was perfect for relaxing with a drink and taking in the sights. and the hot tub was great as well as it was perched overlooking the rolling hills. House was clean and well kept. Amazing view
This property was just beautiful and the view we had could not be beat! We came up during a snowfall which was a bit terrifying at times to get to the property but once we arrived, it felt like an oasis. There was a personalized card and bottle of wine to welcome up and prior to our visit, the sellers communication was wonderful. We found the place to be very clean and comfortable, with everything we needed. We really enjoyed the hot tub and the pool table and would love the opportunity to stay here again the future!

Blue Moon Lodge was a perfect vacation for my family right before Christmas. Kathryn helped us with any needs we had as we were preparing for our vacation. The house was absolutely perfect and the views have to be seen to be appreciated. They were breathtaking!! We had plenty of room. Stunning view
The view from this property was stunning! The neighborhood was peaceful and quiet and with the home being at the very top, there is a vast view of the beautiful mountains and valleys that surround on all sides. We saw deer every evening and our fur babies especially enjoyed lounging on the deck while looking down below for them. We enjoyed walks each am down the long, well maintained drive. The hot tub was amazing and was located perfectly to enjoy the views and the sunset! The interior of the home is well maintained, comfortable, has beautiful fireplaces and we enjoyed many games of pool. The location is remote yet close to the many activities in town as well as beautiful areas to hike. Even though it was the first weekend in November, the trees and fall colors were still amazing. Communication with the owner was terrific and she even left a little birthday surprise for my son. We would definitely like to return in the future!
