"There is a rustic charm to this hotel, situated directly on the lake just south of Villa La Angostura. If you have a car it is very easy to get in and out of town. We opted for a deluxe double with lake view. Personally, I think the rate was very good value for money given the size of the room, size of bathroom, a great lake view and mountains in the distance - and, breakfast included. The breakfast menu was not extensive, but what was provided was fresh & well cooked. Coffee / juice, croissant (huge!), omelet/scrambled eggs, toast, cereals / yoghurt and fruit. The two ladies who served the breakfasts were lovely. The hotel pool was heated (October) and sun loungers available. The communal space was very comfortable and felt more like a family lounge than a hotel- a nice relaxing space. All the team at the hotel were very friendly and helpful. As animal lovers, we particularly liked having the resident cat - Watson, around. He was mainly outside & wasn’t allowed in the breakfast area. Within walking distance there is a ‘pub’ with an extensive menu, or another higher-end restaurant if you don’t wish to drive to town. Both served good food / great service in both. We also went out on a sail boat for the day which the hotel helped to arrange - would highly recommend and the pick up point was just 5 minutes by car. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay. If you like a more relaxed, friendly atmosphere, this would be for you."

"El hotel esta bien aunque las habitaciones son un poco chicas. Lo que tienen que mejorar es la gastronomia. El almuerzo estuvo bien, pero la comida por la noche tenia pocas opciones y lo que pedimos fue muy flojo, al punto que tuve que enviar el plato de vuelta. El desayuno tambien puede mejorar....el cafe bastante flojo y faltan opcioes como salmon ahumado. La cama es muy pequeña para un hotel que cobra USD 450 por noche."

"El llegar es bellísimo. En medio del bosque, y en frente del lago. Lo único es que tienen un gato que se pasea por el hotel y creo que para los que no somos amantes de los gatos fue demasiado."

"El personal es súper amable y siempre están disponibles para cualquier consulta. Mi único problema fue el baño ya que por alguna razón siempre tomaba un mal olor, probablemente era debido a la cortina de baño ya que era un olor a trapo mojado."

"I stayed in the hotel for 1 night . Everything was great except for 1 thing: the check out time was 10am. Most of the hotels I stay at have an 11am or noon check-out time. We advised the staff that they should consider changing it to 11am at least."
