Villafrea de la Reina Hotels

"I have stayed here before and it was an easy decision to rebook this hotel for our trip. The Hotel is a little remote in a small village but I prefer the tranquility and peace at the base of the Picos De Europa. The breakfast and evening meals were fantastic value and I absolutely enjoyed my stay there."

"Really nice hotel, beautiful surroundings, absolutely no complaints."

"Great service and a really nice room"

"Incredible location and amazing value very quiet "

"grocery across the hotel, great walk by the river"

"Good location for exploring the area and access to the rail link to Leon. Facilities are those appropriate to its star rating. My stay was on a Monday, the hotel rest day - check-in staff very helpful, but thereafter you are on your own. In contrast for normal full service days there is a welcoming bar/cafeteria and restaurant facilities."

"The room was very small. Two twin beds. One straight back chair. No room for suitcases. NO amenities. No terrace/balcony/view. Stay elsewhere!"

"What a wonderful place to stay, whether en-route as we were or investigating the area. Stunning location in a tiny village, in renovation houses to a very high standard. Breakfast & dinner were also very good"

"Excellent host, super enthusiastic about the region with great recommendations for hikes. Getting in and out of parking area is tricky but adds to the fun. Quiet, super enjoyable "

"Excellent flat with kitchen, lounge and bathroom. Very quiet area with Resturant on site and a choice of others, plus a bar in village. Non-existent vegetarian options in Resturant on site. Bar opposite does nice pizzas. Recommended. "

"The rural house could use a deep clean, it was dusty and you could tell it has not been cleaned properly. There was a leak in the first floor every time the shower was used. The place is really nice though and the staff were friendly. It has great potentiaL, nice rural town, perfect for what it’s designed for. It’s also pet friendly."

"The staff was super helpful and very nice and we had a great stay!"

"Ideally situated on the main route through the Picos mountains. Comfortable spacious apartment at reasonable cost. Restaurant attached served well presented evening meal. Friendly helpful staff."

"Remote location. Place advertises a scenic pool which is currently empty with mattresses placed in it. Overall rundown conditions. Waterfall on site with trail to it was amazing."

"Excellent apartment with all furnishings. Would definitely stay again."
