"The TV in the room did not work, the nespresso coffee maker was missing the water tank so not useable! Although the food we ate was very good the choice was limited - no rolls & butter, no offers of deserts at all. The staff were very pleasant and helpful, and the room was very clean and comfortable. It could also use an extractor fan as it got very steamy after a shower."

"The welcoming lake view and deer surrounding the property were very nice. The location and host Pierre were fantastic. The fireplace and decor were really warm and welcoming. It would be good to possibly delineate parking spaces so that other people arriving didn't park covering multiple spots. Hot water remaining was a challenge on the first morning and a bathroom fan was loose in the ceiling so I let the host know and they responded and remedied it. The bed and sheets were wonderful and the place was very quiet once above neighbours settled for the evening. I slept well. It may be good to have toothpaste and conditioner also available in the suite to complement the shampoo. The fireplace was calming touch and appreciated as a focal point in the living room. I very much enjoyed the hot tub - maybe a little diagram on the wall could help a user know how to properly remove the cover, The tub was clean and appreciated! I was attending a conference in Ottawa so the traffic was a little challenge in the morning but it was worth the drive in to stay at Pierre's and escape the hotel feel. You can get beer and wine and snack foods at the nearby convenience store and there are many small places nearby to get take out or visit the Manchester pub restaurant about 10 minutes away. There's a firepit in the back, BBQ, etc. for a couples weekend away and lots of hiking nearby if you have time to enjoy it. I would definitely stay again and plan to enjoy the relaxing environment."

"Beautiful rustic home in spectacular Gatineau Park setting. The house is well equipped for cooking. There is a waterfront boathouse with BBQ and dining space as well as kayaks etc. The house is set back from the lake, and there are about 40 stairs to climb. Not difficult, but something to be aware of if there are mobility issues. The rooms and spaces are large. The two bedrooms both access the primary bathroom with tub and shower. Overall highly rated. I would definitely recommend, and hope to stay here again."

"Great location and facility. I deducted a star because the unit I got wasn’t what was displayed in the picture - I didn’t get the hot tub I was looking forward to. That said, the description may not have reflected the addition of a hot tub. Anyway, I highly recommend."

"Seul point négatif: la gestion des déchets est déficiente. À notre arrivée les poubelles extérieures étaient déjà pleine! On demande au locataire de mettre les rebuts au chemin mais ce n'est jamais fait. L'agence de location devrait s'en occuper elle-même. Quelques pépins sont survenus mais la réponse pour régler le problème a été très rapide ( chagement de micro-ondes, nettoyage de la piscine..). Agence de location et propriétaire très à l'écoute. Superbe emplacement."
